You could use a sound card, but the SCS 3Pak comes with a 1/8 to R.C.A / 1/8 cable. It allows you to connect it directly from your computers headphone output, then splits the signal into a pair or R.C.A to connect to your mixer or receiver. The 1/8 input is for your headphones.
@StantonDJ4Life i got that the first time i saw it but if just splits the rca and the headphones. how can u you cue thru your headphones? although i havent tried it yet. coz im not home yet ^_^. anyway thanks for the info.
Thanks a bunch, really helped me on narrowing my choices. would this work well with 2 cdjs as well? because im thinking about buying 2 cdj's with it after i grow into the sc system and grow better as a dj.
@ AnOceanUnseen Yeah because the hardware is made for pro use. The software (LE) is basic enough to lean pretty easily and if you out grow it you can just update to a more robust software.

This is actually a loop and not an effect. He is basically adjusting the length of the loop. He started at lets say, a 4 bar loop and brought it down to like 1/8 of a bar.
This thing rocks! I bought a Numark Total Control and took it back 2 days later because it was total piece of crap and got the Stanton. What a difference! It's the real deal and worth the extra dough.
i got mine a month ago and wow i have so much fun with it , at first it was difficult for me cuz im a beginner but man its so easy to use and the price range isnt so bad i think its worth getting
Alien technology! The future is unfolding here, damn what an impressive controller - would love to get my hands shiny with this awesome piece of hardware! o.O
I have to say, myself owning everything from the range of beginning equipment like american audio and numark, to pro equipment such as pioneer and stanton, this is my first MIDI controller. I have more fun with this than my CDJ-800's and DJM-800. I even recently got the new CDJ-2000's as I wanted to wait for what comes after the CDJ-1000 and even the SCS3 beats it in terms of how much fun you can have. I use this for both work and play, and it's completely reliable.
Could you please send me the settings you are using pro Da Router/Traktor Pro because i can't getting mine to do what you are doing ie scrolling? Am I suppose to have a pull down selection on Da Router that says SCS3 System Pro because I only have one that says SCS3 System LE
where can i order all three pieces ? all i see on websites is one of the sides. so do i have to buy 2 of them? and what about the middle mixer ? do they sell a full set? and does it work for macs?
