they're precious. So are the 4 million dogs in the United States who are euthanized each year due to breeders, failure to spay and neuter, and other irresponsible behaviors. I hope that you and other breeders can develop other income sources so that this massive, enormous problem that occupies my time and the time of countless other selfless individuals who work tirelessly to place dogs in homes and witness thousands of dogs being put to sleep on a daily basis will be eliminated. Happy holidays
Ask any vet; there is no such thing as a teacup yorkie, it is a genetic defect that is embraced among breeders and ignorant customers. These yorkies are at risk for heart problems, knee problems, kidney problems, and more. Their life span is considerably shorter than a yorkie of average size and weight.
You keep deleting my comment because it's true and you have no truthful defense? Or cuz you don't want a potential 'customer' to get curious and look up the truth about teacup dogs and then not buy one of yours?
Be sure to let your customers know beforehand that 'teacups' are bred by repeatedly breeding the runts of two litters together to create smaller dogs. Also that the AKC does not reccomend breeding Yorkies under 5 lbs. And that they do not recognize 'teacup' or 'imperial' breeds. Oh, and that because of breeding from runts, these dogs have a higher propencity for having underlying health conditions. Research your breed before you buy! Responsible breeders don't breed teacup dogs.
