I mean , im studyng pedagogy in English, and in my phonetics classes we have to pronounce the same way you did, i know when you pronounce that way isn´t natural, but it really helps you to improve your pronunciation?
cool, I am also forced to learn british pronounciation and my phonetics teacher is kind of...well...she's simply a good teacher let's say. Anyway I like it more and more.
They may be on to something. Did they teach you to be aware of the sounds of your own language first? As an English teacher, I haven't met anyone who wouldn't benefit from a bit of phonetics instruction in his or her first language.
that s TRUE! I'm learning english but I'm in usa , so my pronounciation is kinda american , but funny cuz I'm not fluent yet :( , but I like most brittish english cuz I think its easier , I started Exaggerating lol and now My brittish english is way more better than american , I started repeating everything that AUSTIN POWERS SAID lol lol ...and i Like it most but I still need help anyways , I just dont get why evrybody hates me lol :)

I prefer american english, it's way faster and I really hate the word petrol.

they think that a foreigner can make his speech faultless only by exaggerating each sound at first
