I look for love outside myself therefore I am not love. And anything that I can get can also get lost, so there´s always the fear of losing something or someone.
Unconditional/spiritual love:
The more I give freely from the heart the more I will recieve and the deeper the relationships will be.
I no longer need to seek love in the external environment because in truth I AM love.
I think this talk by Guruka Singh is pretty good, but I have some disagreements. I don't think all non-marriage relationships have to be built on ego and affirmation. I think a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship can be just as fulfilling when done the right way. Marriage isn't the end all/be all to relationships. A person can be quite comfortable with their self and Guru and still not really be into marriage that much. And with divorce rates so high...
wjkk, wjkf....but i have to disagree here. sometimes the dynamic and affirmation that a relationship creates CAN show you more who you are, and help your spirituality and general self-worth
Thank you very much...your words clearly explain what I feel about the topic...even Jesus said to love the others as much as we love ourselves. How can we love the others if we don't love ourselves? Aniway understanding who we are is not as easy as it might seem...It's one of the unresolved questions of metaphysics.... Best Regards

hes basically saying you have to love yourself and the divine within you before you can expect anyone else to truly love you back.

It may be that simple; yet, we make it very difficult by rushing into life (society's idea of life) and all it has to offer.
