  • could she tell right away that the baby had flipped?

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS! =)

  • Looks like fun :D

  • My son is currently breech, I am about to head to the pool and attempt the very same thing!!! God I hope it works for me!

  • Hello 25luts, thanks for the vid. This really opened up a new light for me and breech presentations. I'm used to external cephalic version, using your hands to actually turn the baby. Perhaps your method works, and perhaps not, but it is said 25% of pregnancies less than 28 weeks are in breach, and @ 37 weeks, there is 25% chance for the baby to turn on his own to the normal cephalic position. It would be nice to see a study done on this. :) Good luck and congrats on your addition

    Thanks.. ;)

  • Lol this is soo funny! im in the same situation. 36 weeks nd my babys in breech position. how many weeks is your wife here and how many times a weeks would she do this for?

  • it's supposed to flip the baby into a head down position so the mother can give birth naturally rather then by c-section

  • my little Savannah flipped like 2 weeks ago. I had just been eating at an Indian restraunt and we were driving home, all of a sudden, her entire body started wiggling and stretching and I'm like "She's fliiping.... I think" went to the doc yesterday and she was head down!! WOO HOO!!

  • how many weeks was your wife pregnant when she started this? And how many times did she have to do this before the baby flipped? How many weeks was she at the time of flip? Thanks, am in a similar situation and would like to know how long i should try.

  • ????????

  • And whats the point of that?

  • when you give birth, the baby is flipped so its more easy for him to get out of her :)

  • my baby is also breech at 36 weeks.... still hoping for the best I hope she will turn!!!

  • Hey, congrats on the baby, and your wife looks very beautiful and cute when doing those handstands. your wife is a good swimmer and breathholder!

  • what is this suppose to do i don't get it?

  • flip the baby upside down!

  • I tried this and it didn't work for me but I've heard of other success stories...Let me tell you, it aint easy doing a handstand when you're that ripely preggo. =)

  • congradulations on flipping your baby! Good luck!!!! :)

  • I'm so glad I saw this. I've been trying lots of things to flip my baby girl around! I just told my husband we need to find a pool.

  • A nice hotel, perhaps. Many Holiday Inns have nice indoor pools/rec centers.

Some quality time together would be enjoyable. Once the little one arrives, you will have a lot less!

  • Perfect wife!!

  • Damn i wish i'd have tried this method, my son was breech but was delivered vaginally.

    CONGRATS!

  • Did the underwater handstand work or do you just enjoy doing it? I must say you are really good at it.

  • my wife tried this swimming pool flip method twice during her last trimester and though we can't say that this is the reason that the baby flipped, she did flip both times. this particular time was a couple of days before our beautiful baby was born -- not breech. Pretty cool, and weird. Of course, there was nothing scientific about it. My wife looked up all these unorthodox ways to flip a baby and this was one of them. plus, my wife looks incredibly cute and funny doing these flips .

  • shes upside down, so the baby inside her trys to compensate by going inverted to head down to be right side up, even if it is odd, that is my reasoning at least, the baby wants to be heads up for months it doesnt matter

  • Pregnant Underwater Handstands, pretty neat, add more while possible.

  • incredible!

  • Glad that worked for you. Hope the birth goes well. Good luck!

  • thanks. our very healthy, perfect little girl was born yesterday. we're very excited.

  • That's wonderful! Congratulations!

  • Big Congrats!

  • Wow!!! She can hold her breath longer than I can. Neat video!!!!

  • I cannot really concieve of an explanation for why it would work, but at least it worked.

  • In some cases, it causes the baby to turn into the head-down position. It doesn't always work, though.
