Well the only time you have to worry about a cow bell is when it it shoved in your asshole. Let people make there music. If you don't like it walk away.
Rick was a very talented musician and songwriter. someone questioned if he could even play guitar. He certainly could. BTW, he has been given credit by the Eagles for being the one who influenced their sound. In fact Randy Misener was his bass player starting out and he went on to the Eagles. The Stone Canyon Band was an influence on many of the country/rock groups coming out of California.
@cooltooth112 BTW, I am talking about their current songs written by Nelson and not his old stuff, which is wonderful too. The Stone Canyon Band was a force to be reckoned with.
I always remembered the drummer and his cow bell from this song. Now reminiscing the old times, I keep noticing the drummer and wish I knew him as well as I wish I knew Rick. They were both so underrated. I too wish I could go back in time. At least now we have the modern technology to play them whenever we want. I am going through a phase where I can not get enough, especially the drummer. That life is over but I wish I shared it then.
rosies1181, I live in Memphis, always have and I can tell NO One can touch Elvis , you idiot!!!!Go back to where ever dirt mound you crawled from under asshole!!!!
As you can see by the two-shot of Rick's parents this was part of the TV show "The Adventures of Ozzy and Harriet". So the editing for TV was done after the filming. You can tell it was was filmed by the quality of the picture much above say Eddie Cochrans videos. And it was lip-synced for TV.
this is rick's daughter tracy- besides the cowbell, james solo was the best thing about this song. whoever cut this is not a music fan. love you james!
They cut out James Burton's guitar solo! Burton was an early visionary, and the one who made Ricky Nelson's sound! And they cut out his solo! WHAAAH!!!
Rick was a true talent - a great singer who obviously inherited his talent from Harriet Hilliard, his Mother. His Father was musical, but COULD NOT SING! Also, Rick should be given credit for pioneering lip gloss....
Man, Ricky Nelson Was Gorgeous. No wonder his son's were adorable. even when they had long hair. But, I loved the 80s hair bands, so I loved the way they looked.
I never get tired of watching this gorgeous man.

You're right. Elvis repeatedly said that Ricky Nelson was his favorite male singer.

You got that right. The best part of the song was cut out for this YouTube video. It was broadcast on the original show though.

Buen vídeo me recuerda a las películas musicales de los años 60, es mas este vídeo del gran Ricky Nelson parece ser una película de esos años.
