  • I never get tired of watching this gorgeous man.

  • good .. sigging from this man

  • We want the 50s!...future=goodbye heart!

  • Also includes a very young James Burton on lead guitar.

  • Well the only time you have to worry about a cow bell is when it it shoved in your asshole. Let people make there music. If you don't like it walk away.

  • Rick was a very talented musician and songwriter. someone questioned if he could even play guitar. He certainly could. BTW, he has been given credit by the Eagles for being the one who influenced their sound. In fact Randy Misener was his bass player starting out and he went on to the Eagles. The Stone Canyon Band was an influence on many of the country/rock groups coming out of California.

  • @cooltooth112 BTW, I am talking about their current songs written by Nelson and not his old stuff, which is wonderful too. The Stone Canyon Band was a force to be reckoned with.

  • Check out the Pre CBS Fender Guitars.

    Priceless

  • I always remembered the drummer and his cow bell from this song. Now reminiscing the old times, I keep noticing the drummer and wish I knew him as well as I wish I knew Rick. They were both so underrated. I too wish I could go back in time. At least now we have the modern technology to play them whenever we want. I am going through a phase where I can not get enough, especially the drummer. That life is over but I wish I shared it then.

  • i'm 24...and give anything to go back in time and watch this live..

  • those shirts!

  • one of the greatest guitar solos of all time and they delete it???!!!

  • Where's the guitar solo?

  • Harriet Hillard was also a big band singer.

  • toch mooi om terug te zien .waar is die tijd naartoe zeg !!!!

  • Ricky Nelson was always a class act!

  • Dedicada a "pasitos" (mi mamá), que en los sesentas le decían Marilú. Le doy 5 * a esta video-joya. =:D

  • Cause this song, Mary Lou is our girl friend for ever, since the fifties ! Great !

  • This song was written by the great Gene Pitney.

  • Shame Shame for taking the guitar solo out.....

  • love this song as beautiful as my name Mary Lou <3

  • imsooo gaga over him<33333

  • past me by one sunny day, flashed those big brown eyes my and oooh i wanted you for evermore!

  • rosies1181, I live in Memphis, always have and I can tell NO One can touch Elvis , you idiot!!!!Go back to where ever dirt mound you crawled from under asshole!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • The only competiton Elvis ever had.

  • You're right. Elvis repeatedly said that Ricky Nelson was his favorite male singer.

  • I thought Elvis said Roy Orbison was his favorite singer.

  • Perfecto Mondo.

  • As you can see by the two-shot of Rick's parents this was part of the TV show "The Adventures of Ozzy and Harriet". So the editing for TV was done after the filming. You can tell it was was filmed by the quality of the picture much above say Eddie Cochrans videos. And it was lip-synced for TV.

  • this is rick's daughter tracy- besides the cowbell, james solo was the best thing about this song. whoever cut this is not a music fan. love you james!

  • True is that is. I get to see a Great video of your POP.......

  • Thanks! Can someone help me please, the 'Fools Rush In' is no longer available in my country. I hate when the status of videos are changed like that.

  • its a mad solo!

  • What shit for brains cut james's' solo out!!!!

  • Agreed.

  • They cut out James Burton's guitar solo! Burton was an early visionary, and the one who made Ricky Nelson's sound! And they cut out his solo! WHAAAH!!!

  • You got that right. The best part of the song was cut out for this YouTube video. It was broadcast on the original show though.

  • "I need more cow bell!"

  • genial una joya de la musica

  • I grew up watching Ricky and listening to his music. He was fantastic and I miss him! Wow! Garden Party still a hit today!

  • Rick was a true talent - a great singer who obviously inherited his talent from Harriet Hilliard, his Mother. His Father was musical, but COULD NOT SING! Also, Rick should be given credit for pioneering lip gloss....

  • Man, Ricky Nelson Was Gorgeous. No wonder his son's were adorable. even when they had long hair. But, I loved the 80s hair bands, so I loved the way they looked.

  • Buen vídeo me recuerda a las películas musicales de los años 60, es mas este vídeo del gran Ricky Nelson parece ser una película de esos años.
