  • Clarence Clemmens "The Bumble Bee" Jerry's left hand man. This was the Earthquake benefit show it really rocked.

  • Effing Awesome! What an amazing song.

  • Ok, to all the confused people- THIS IS NOT BRANFORD. Looks and sounds like Clarence Clemons.

    Jerry- ripping it

Clarence- confusing the issue as usual

  • Jerry may be gone, but never will be forgotten.

I remember....what a time it was going to Dead shows and experiencing the sounds of the greatest rock band of all time.

    I miss you Jerry, RIP!

  • thanks texaskaje for the awesome post! "Oh, I'd rather be with you.." The jam is amazing at the end as well. Lots of killer Standings in 89'..had the good fortune of being at Alpine that year which was lovely as well. Also, Branford fit in w/the dead from the first night at Nassau. ...the eyes that night was, indescribable..they had they groove from the intro.... Love Jerry as much, if not more today than back in the days.

  • i read this at my sisters funeral. first time i have listened to it since (2 years)...tears yes!

  • love branford touch!!

  • Standing on the moon but I'd rather be with you. The moon being the stage and you being all of his fans. I think he would rather be hanging out with us in the crowd having a good time watching the Dead. The stage can put alot of distance between him and us. But then again, I am just a little burnt and that is my perspective.

  • This is the right tempo for this song. A bit slower than the disc. Best version I've heard yet.

  • Beautiful. Teary. Weary. Grateful. Thank you.

  • RIP Uncle Jer-bear

    I hate Aug 9th

  • his death was...horrific beyond words....the world lost a diamond....rip jerry....tears....

  • thanks for this great video
