I agree that the chainsaw is a good weapon, but it is annoying as hell.  When you have people that just stand around corners, or rush in with chainsaws blazing, it gets annoying. My personal favorite is when you are fighting, lets say 3 people, you kill all 3 then BAM, a chainsaw from behind. Its part of the game, just have to learn to deal with it.

the secret to warding off chainsaw noobs is to shoot as early as possible. u have to take in considering of the slight miliseconds of lag. i only get chainsawed from behind or from the sides from some guy being a bitch and hiding. and for everyone dissing Gears of War, if this game is such a crappy and unfinished game, then why do so many people still play it? Gears of War 2 is always the 3rd, 4th, or 5th most played game on xbox-live every month. only people who suck at this game hate it

no not really it has so much lag the hit detection sucks my balls the chainsaw never cant be stopped the artillary and frag grenades are unstoppable and every corner you walk around there is a frag grenade which when punched into the wall magically becomes a landmine which you can never survive and the maps suck and there is a whole shit load of glitches and it takes 10 -15 minutes to find a match and if or any of the reasons stated above you want to leave a match, well you cant. it is very bad!

now, im just starting to think you're not that great at gears of war. honestly, the artillery and frags aren't unstoppable. the mortar is garbage. i hardly ever get killed by the artillery. planting the frags into walls and the ground is part of the game now, and u just have to be careful and watch where you're walking. it leaves room for players to come up with my strategical ideas. it does lag some, but that's because of the tons of graphics that have to be rendered constantly.

* this is not a racial comment, it just states that the quality of the connection south of the border is negligable compared to europes or americas connection quality

No, it's not THAT far into epic's fault, yeah the server people host on is pretty crappy, but you can still host a really smooth game. Just have to be able to upload at least 3 Mb/sec, Just run a internet Speedtest and check yourself, they make it so bad with the bit length that you have to use 6x the amout of upload speed to just play a match with 10 people than 16 on other games. It's usally about 516Kb/sec for other games I believe.
