Also, notice how EVERY single K40 video and Mr.RadarGuy (another K40 account) video has: 1) comments disabled, 2) ratings disabled and, 3) NONE of them compare to those of Valentine Research, Escort, Beltronics, Laser Interceptor, or Blinder. I wonder why. They pay people to NOT test their products, consistently refuse to participate in tests, SUE people who mention their products negatively, and have archaic designs based off of mid 90s circuitry. K40 = subpar products at a ridiculous price!!!

It should have been obvious as soon as you saw "Defuser" on the box. With all the science and engineering that would actually go into a real jamming system, you'd think they'd be smart enough to put the proper "Diffuser" on there. Are they going to remove the fuse to the laser or dissipate it? lol

The K40 setup is very nice, and doesn't leak a radar signal back. The Laser shifter works.... sometimes. Still a very nice setup/ early warning system! Now, if you want the best of BOTH worlds you will get the Passport 9500ci. Best in all categories! I install this system on top class, elite, and exotic cars! I have never had any complaints!!.... NOR ANYBODY RECEIVING A TICKET!! AGAIN the 9500ci is the best hands down!

It is hard for me to tell who is being honest in these reviews anymore. Seems like there are all these different groups reviewing all the Laser Jammers and all the groups have completely different opinions and tests showing different results. I am starting to see that many of these groups only support manufactuers that they sell or are supported by. GOL, Laser Jammer Tests, and Roy all seem to be biased towards companies that support them.

BTW - I am not a K40 fan, but I have been researching it. I have seen it installed on many cars here in the Pacific Northwest it appears to work just fine against the K-Pro II and III which is used here by the State Patrol. So what gives?

Follow the nicks, friends, and recognize the same "voices" in videos. search for the video "caught jamming" where the same guy explains how he "works for a company" and how he's their "camera guy". Total bullshit. I have said time and again that anyone that wants to test my defuser EX2 or even my old unit LD5500+ as shown in this video. I mean come on have some self respect I dont make fake blinder, or laser interceptor videos.

K40 must be the "Cobra" of Laser Jammers. It's not reviewed by any of the high end reviewer sites. Why not just run this test installing a toilet paper tube as a jammer.

I use the K40 on all my cars. I have tested it with the local PD. It does work. In my tests and experiences it will buy you an average of 14 seconds of the gun being stunned. After that it will lock on eventually. As you get closer to the cop the 14 seconds will reduce. I would say once you get under 500ft it will only take a few seconds - to instant. It is a good system if the cop is further away.

Of course not, the K40 is a POS, get the Laser Interceptor for laser jamming almost 100% of the time. It may cost more but you have to pay to play.

Funny thing is they dont show you inside the car, that would tell you that the K40 was indeed working as it is supposed too. No matter what you have eventually they will get a speed on you.
