Nothing in his writings, nor his friends&family support the claim. The only 'evidence' here is a name, and people exploit famous names all the time.
The Franklin stuff--I really think that wasn't the real HST. At first, when i was researching it, i was like- 'wha??' but now i believe it was someone else either with that name or just calling himself that.
Hunter's 'suicide,' after interviews and immediately b4 he was releasing his own article about 9-11, is highly suspect. people who mattered listened 2 Hunter, and that worried the ones in power.

Listen, I can't believe you people are faulting John Cusack for cutting off the interviewer. He's the interviewee! He's supposed to be talking. In every journalism class I've ever had, they tell you to let your subject pause to finish their thought. The guy didn't let him finish a thought. Anyway, I think you fools are the only ones offended. I think both of these guys were just enjoying their conversation.

There is enough contradicting testimony and dubious circumstances 2 make me feel that he was 'suicided' (killed and made 2 look like it was suicide)
