  • Yeah i hear ya, wearing that bike suit shows a persons dedication to the sport. It's a whole lot different than wearing that baseball, basket ball, or football jersey and drinking beer the whole day. And when these fans paint their faces and bodies and wear crazy shit, no one seems to mind. But if you work out for more than 15 mins, aah fuck, you're a wacko!

  • 30 miles is nothing. depending on where&how you ride. that's about a 30 - 40min ride at a constant 15 - 20 mph + you're getting exercise. excessive bike riding is w/e honestly unless you're riding everyday everywhere day and night. That lady friend he was talking about is just crazy.

  • @auomauom 30 miles takes 30 minutes at a 20mph average? Lol, I dont think that math works.

  • So says the fat ugly people! I do 15 miles in my sleep. That is only 30-40 minutes on the bike. I would love to see one of them at Saturday crit.

  • Riders are the biggest douchebags in the world. Talk about a gathering of homos

  • @konatown5 they are, you should join them.

  • @1wayward9 oh what a witty reply. you slay me

  • Mile 30 is the warm up. It's a sport just like hockey/baseball/football etc which I despise. You don't see anyone making fun of those sports. People with small brains can't comprehend the beauty of cycling.

  • funny all the comments. sticking up for the riders, obviously not doing enough kms if youve got the time to comment on youtube. stern is right, he doesnt ride and look at the fun he has and he doesnt even have to piss of other road users to do it

  • Until you start cycling, you don't really realize that the ride doesn't really begin until mile 30.

  • 30 miles a day... will still make you a Cat 4.

  • I like Howard, and I like cycling. I get his point and it's social commentary, but unfortunately people will listen to what he says and be like, "yeah all cyclists are fucking stupid." It's his show and he's got to mix it up. That being said, cycling's my favorite sport. I don't care to watch football or golf or any of the other "traditional" sports. Sitting on the couch through a whole NFL game takes time away from the family too and won't get you a resting heart rate in the 40's....

  • HAHAHAHHAHAHA. Oh man Howard Stern is telling it like it is.

  • Bicyclists are fags who endanger decent hard working drivers.

  • @donnmuratore

How is it the drivers who are endangered? And more importantly who says they are all hardworking and decent. I've seen MANY MANY drivers who are not decent. They are selfish and only care about getting them selves where they need to be in the shortest time possible, regardless of obeying the rules of the road. Which are made for everyone's safety. Fuck greedy oil companies and pollution, and ride a bike instead. Your health and your planet will thank you for it.

  • @drycomplexity You don't realize that biking on the side of the road during rush hour is suicidal? If I'm driving, I may have to swerve around you, and that can cause an accident. In my area bicyclists never use the sidewalks. The other day I swear to god, a lady was cycling down the double yellow line on a two way traffic street in the middle of the city. I was in a truck and we had to go 5 miles per hour not to hit her. I couldn't believe my eyes.

  • Deadbeat unhealthy people making fun of people who actually have a life, and like the life they have....WTF. and get a fuckin haircut, you look like kenny G. and he's making fun of someone who wrecked their marriage. Ive never heard anyone say howard stern is amazing, hot, or even just a good person.

  • well unless ur wife rides bikes as well...

  • He did make a good point about the image of posing as a pro-sponsored athlete! It trivializes the trials, pain, loss, and victories of actual hardcore lifers that earned their colors/endorsements!

  • @liquidrtype

How is it any different then fat tale gating dudes who worship football, wearing their favorite teams jerseys? What in the hell did they earn besides their diabetes??

  • @drycomplexity lol =) Interesting point; I agree! But the difference is the football dude is wearing a jersey, jeans, holding beer in one hand and waving a flag in the other; clearly just a "fan"! The weekend/casual cyclist is decked out-in-full tournament attire, gadgetry, racing bike in the $thousands$! That’s a lot of glitter for some would-be-pro with no trophies!

  • @liquidrtype I don’t want to give the impression I’m generalizing; there are some real-deal athletes out there randomly in the mix! My friend is one from the 80’s and 90’s. He has enough awards, skin damage, and cycling injuries to last two life times! =) For him, cycling is life not image; earn your swag! I understand your point but I suppose preference plays a role; as in “to each his own!” =)

  • 30 miles is a crit race. I'm collegiate racer and I know how much effort it takes to stay at a top level. You know what let's get you on a bike and I will sprint you for 15 miles. I bet it takes you over an hour you lazy host. REALLY, has your show gone down so bad that you have to attempt to make fun of a cyclist? What a losser. Its not about the outfit for me I wear my college's colors with pride when I race. Oh and I have a girl who likes that I race...she doesnt ride very often so bite off.

  • I kind of understand what he's saying. I definitely think it's good to be physically active and keep in shape. But if you let it become an obsession to the point where it takes over your life(and I have been guilty of this, with both cycling and running), then maybe it's time to start thinking about priorities.

  • @Colddeed cycling and running SHOULD be your life ;-)

  • I used to bike a lot. Now I prefer running.

  • And be a lazy ass with the horrible body that you have!!!! FU Howard!!!

  • Cycling is phenomenal, beyond words but why be banging the bottom bracket for hours when you can be getting sucked off and banging poontang for at least five or six hours a day? It's a no brainer.

    Thanx Howard.

  • Sounds like a whole lot of jealousy :)

  • Howard stern has never riden a bike. I ride fucking 30 miles in my sleep, you can lick my balls that's why Howard Stern is a jackass!

  • lol I know what he's saying. I'M ADDICTED!

  • Lol

  • 28 people are bike riders in skin suits

  • i am a boss on my bike, i'm that guy who your like, what the fuck i just got passed by a guy on a bike and i'm doing 40 mph, and i'm the guy who can get from your house to your work on a bike faster than you can in a car, and i'm the guy your hot girlfriend keeps checking out in the car rear mirror

  • WTF is up with the audio?...also 30 miles isn't that far, especially on a road bike

  • 17 people are bicycle riders.

  • 30 miles is alot of leeway. Im no cardio stud but biking 25 miles will take over 90 minutes for most people.

  • cyclists are fucking annoying.

  • @curtmastor Your opinion is duly noted sir.

  • Wow Howard Stern giving you tips on how much you should work out. Riveting conversation, why do people really waste their time listening to this idiot when they could be riding their bike?

  • @cosmicelevation I think its hilarious. Get a sense of humor you retard. By the way, you clicked on the video. It's clear who the idiot is. And it ain't Stern.

  • Like the dude from Breaking Away

  • Loser

  • Doesn't this tool go jogging for miles a day and complain about not putting on muscle?

  • I did long rides to exercise. You HAVE TO ride about 25-50 miles a day to get a good work out. Biking is too easy. I wasn't even losing weight riding 250 miles a week. It's only a couple hours a day total. Though it is ridiculous with those obsessive cyclists with their $8,000 investments in gear and clothing. I was out there in jeans and a t-shirt. My uncle is 100% this way, he even goes to the Tour de France every year (to watch).

  • @promontorium If I spent that much money on something with wheels it better have an engine attatched to it lol

  • @promontorium if you ride at a 2 mile per hour pace may be easy, did you ever enter a real race in your life? even if you do a 10 mile criterium with cat 5 cyclists will give you a good work out.I do not care for obsessive people, but cylcing is NOT easy, riding a bicycle around your neighborhood may be.Anyway,I do not belive you did any riding, you just wanted to make a dumb comment.

  • @promontorium i lost 50 pounds in 3 months from cycling. You need to know how to keep your heart rate up in zone 3 to zone 4 for 20 or more miles.... which i doubt you can do if you think its easy.... or you should be going pro and make some money doing it

  • Where is adam.

  • @PDXland37 at the end

  • @PDXland37 at the very end, but he doesn't say anything bad. Surprising for the king of complaining. In fact in his podcast he has said several times that he enjoys the engineering and mechanical beauty of bicycles. What's weirder, cycling or mma?

  • @PDXland37 at the very end

  • Yea people get divorces over cycling - I guarantee that he doesn't have a friend like this. He's just making shit up out of his ass. This is why Howard Stern is over-rated as hell.

  • @FavreianVengeance made up or not, its entertaining. stand up comedians make up and exaggerate shit too

  • @MusicChrono Wow....All I can say is..WOW...
