This is Josef Jacobs'DRI (48 vics),CO of Jasta7. He at one time had 3 DRI's and flew them to the end of WW I. He offered all frontline troops that if brought a good rotary engine from an enemy a/c that they would get 1 case of champagne. According to Jacobs "I never lacked for engines after that"! An American pilot who Jacobs shot down told him that he was amazed at how fast his triplane was (this was probably fitted w/ a 130 or 160hp engine @ the time. Anyway, THANKS for posting this video.

Thanx for your comment. This was the first Triplane I had ever seen flying. I wish I had got more footage but my battery supply let me down.
