That's awesome....my problem is with any religion that uses fear to control people, and it happens all the time in Christianity too. Let me first started by saying that I am a christian. I accepted Jesus Christ as my saviour some 13 years ago. Now, before I was saved I used to visit voodoo ceremonies with my friends in Brooklyn, NY. When ever i visited these ceremonies, they had a very large jews, whites and hispanics in attendance. Once God manifested himself into the flesh (JESUS CHRIST)... and died for us, blood sacrifice was NO LONGER NECCESSARY because JESUS WAS THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE. I really love to see different perspectives, especially as I'm now trying to learn more about Haiti. But I just have one query... you show pictures of voodoo priests drinking blood from a ram's head and biting the head off a chicken...don't you Christians ritualistically drink the blood of Christ and eat his flesh?

My understanding of Voodoo (the "type" he is referring to in this video, by and large) is one that has only come from much patience and open-minded study. Of course the images shown here make you think of the last horror movie you saw or what have you, Steve. Have you seen Hebrew Priests sucking the blood from the freshly cut foreskin of an infant?
