Many guys use AC compressors to inflate thier tires for off road 4x4'ers they work great. A note about Tesla500 as you mentioned aussie50, yeah that was a really cool video he did showing the valve in slow motion bouncing off the rotor without any back pressure. That made me think, maby a guy could modify the valve to use a really stiff spring to keep it against the rotor without needing back pressure and just grease the rotor to keep friction from damaging it. Cheers mate, love the vids. IC.
You should make a video on how to hook up the capacitor and compressor to 120 or 240 volt a/c power supply, I think a lot of people would benefit their tinkering!
why not cut a hole in the bottom of the compressor and the sealing it again weld a shaft to the compressor so you can use it as an air motor and it might even work as a generator
if you could make a video on this it would be good
you and your toys. you shout put a air line for the out let of the air motor to the in let of the compressor feeding it just to see what happens.(how long it taks bofor you run out of air.)
i don"t like air motor.

don"t like air like 16mm.

@metro2089 cool yeah, I did one on starting relays and small domestic compressors a while back but I didn't go into normal AC comp wiring.
I'll put it on the list of short projects to do.

Hi
Thanks alot for your great effort
Can you explain what is the difference between the rotary and scroll or screw compressor?

they surely make some funny noises with all that air rushing though them

I'll make a day this week to get stuck into the air motor thing, the big scroll is hogging too much space up the back now :(
Aussie50 2 years ago
That works quite well, much better than the one I used. Mine would start "hiccuping" and stall if I put too much air in.

Put a lubricator in line with it.
