Regarding the comment about longer tips: you should feel free to make them any length but you could just CALL them "One Minute" as a branding thing. We won't mind! (okay, it IS the internet, so you would get lots of comments about the length and title not matching. Ah well...gotta pick your battles.)

Another suggestion would be to do the same exercise but keeping the four fingers close to the fretboard. Try not letting your fingers be more than half an inch away from the fretboard both ways (fingers on and off the fret). The reverse (taking the fingers off but keeping the half-inch distance) proves to be pretty difficult.
