  • Nice car. I'm waiting for a '66 coupe black on black to pop up for the right price

(5k-15k) and im gonna put the gold stripes on it.

  • dude you're tottally dreaming you are never going to finda car like that for 5k or 15k it will be like 150k or more

  • i saw a 65' Shelby GT350H going for about 50k. But yea this guy is dreaming as time goes on its only gonna get higher. Fucking Beautiful car!

  • Keep looking, and don't listen to the non-believers :D! My 65 Mustang Coupe 289 was 1k from my father's boss. My father and I fixed it up. It was black, crappy paint. Needed new interior. Gave it bright red paint w/ white stripes, and new interior. I estimate it now to be worth at least 25k.

  • this is the only mustang model i like,gt models were the good mustangs from the production line

  • Niiiice!!! i have a 66 and want to do the same project, how much was your paint job? or did you get the stripe kits and if so from where?

  • Have a Hertz replica had for years, however its a 65 and in 2065 bits. The lower side decal stripes are avail from most mustang restoration outlets ie California Mustang etc. Just google or see one of the many classic Mustang mags. May also like to research the body stripe dimensions (best to paint on). They are not straight, they vary in width over the body, considerably wider over the roof.

PS Do like those old school Firestone on them magnums, v nice.

  • The lower side stripe kits are available from most Mustang restoration outlets ie California Mustang etc. Also the body stripes are not straight, they change in width over the roof etc. Best to paint these as they cover quite a big area. Bound to be some dimensions for these on the web someplace, cant remember where I got mine from. Doing a Hertz replica also, had for quite a few years. Will be on Youtube one of these days.

  • Ignore 2nd comment, (repost, 1st wasnt showing as sent). Hope any of it was helpful anyway.
