  • I have a Roland fp5. Is it compatible with omnisphere spectrasonics???

  • I know, it may be the silliest question ever asked, but how do I record the stuff I produce with Omnisphere? I don't want to play it on stage, I want to record it, can you also record yourself using the "live-mode"?...or is there only the "live-mode" in a different Omnisphere version? Caus I just couldn't see the Live mode here in the bar...:-/ If anyone can help me, thanks a lot!!

  • Do you need a synthesizer or can you use any keyboard?

  • @6393dude any instrument that can send midi out information.

  • Anyone find or recreate the Exploration Pad used in this Demo at 2:16 ?

  • on the omnispere when I'm using acoustic guitars, I can't take off delay - even when FX rack is set to empty. Can anyone help? Thanks for vid! Spectrasonics - awesome

  • the best vst ever. this virtual instrument it sounds better tran alot of analog keyboaards hardwares :)

  • Ive seen patchets changed via a pedal instantly and also you can add the patch buttons to an iPhone so you press the patches on the iphone to instantly change the patch on your computer. Yopu have to have enough ram to open all the patches your gonna need for the session so they instantly change.

  • haha love why the visualizer was included xd

  • Live Mode as per Producer's Edge magazine review in issue 04 (Teddy Riley on cover) page 40.

  • This is good & all but how do people go about switching sounds smoothly live?

  • your worries are unfounded, download the manual then buy the mofo!!!

  • thats simple - with a midi-controller.

Either you have a special board with some switches, a second, small keyboard or some knobs on your keyboard you use live.

Its prettey easy...you cann change presets, change certain parameters, combine presets with just one click. I

  • @deftonesfan192 jordan rudess uses a footswich to change patches

  • nice)

  • I'm just dissapointed that Roland lost Eric Persings patch/voicing talent :( The instruments don't have the same "magic" since he left! :( Very sad.......

  • 4 everyone ..its a completely new experience ..this is one of the greatest vst i ve got

  • I have heard soo many of atmospheres patches in music. Get's a little boring when you hear the same patch over and over.

  • hahaa...too dense too little invincible...lol

  • I am confused. I have been using my new Omnisphere over the weekend and the "massive" library is only a total of 378 patches!!! This is unexceptionable. Am I missing something here?

  • what they mean by massive is that the samples used are huge so they don't skimp on memory for creating sounds which is very important

the roland fantom gs has a"whopping" 256 MB of sounds while omnisphere has 40GB, a huuuge diference

  • download the new update to get the whole library

  • Yes the plugin came out today!

I am planning to order the plugin!

  • Sounds Cool! Can't wait to get my hands on one of those.

  • Geez. Another impressive synth from these guys. I sold all of my hard synths (except the d-50) because of atmosphere, and this omni is gonna be even better.

  • It's pretty impressive if you've never used other VST synths and like 90's Korg sounds

  • Oh yes, this has my name written on it. :)

  • thats the shit i must buy it !!!!!!!!!!

  • Looking forward to play with. Atmosphere still does the business but this looks awsome
