Great launch video... I am about to launch with my first camera enabled rocket... Should I use an 18 inch parachute for slower descent and better video? Input gladly welcomed.
@madcyborg, good question, a big parachute is always good, only your rocket wil drift of more so you have to launch in a big open area before he lands in somebody's back yard, it happent to me :( a big parachute is also better for the camera when the rocket lands
@R0ckzor grind up propellant, or fill with pyrodex, glue in the nose cone and seal in the motor in the center, so when the ejection charge blows, it overpressurises the chamber, making it burst as the payload is burning. also fill with sparklers (use over sand/dirt only, other small firework, or hook a spark shooting firework to a parachute as a payload for a flare type thing. Wow, i know way too much about this stuff....
@mrsiborg, well the 5 D12 engines are a little overkill for this rocket, before this flight the rocket exploded becose it was to weak, that video is also on my channel
WOW nice bird man! those fins need a wee more glue (or stiffen what their glued too) but otherwise AWESOME. spectacular camera placement very very realistic looking liftoff. The only way to make that better? have them boosters sep on the way up say via 3 second delays in the pods and 5-7 seconds delay in the mains! wow nice job!
@nerys71, thxs for your comment :) i am one step ahead of you ;) i have a rocket that hase booster that fall of after they have burned out, the test video of that rocket is on my youtube channel
lot of initial acceleration but that did not translate into significant height. Was expecting it to go higher with five motors

@k1ng401, the trick is to use stages i think

@Racze90463 google buy in coins and check their page for small cameras. they have comparable mini cams for less than 20 dollars.

Very stable. Most rockets spin a lot more during launch.
