I've listened to this sonata tens of times... and this performance is so wonderful that I feel like I'm discovering this sonata for the first time. Alice Sara is certainly going to be a great great pianist because she plays wonderfully (check her CD on Chopin waltzes, and Liszt Transcendental studies), and not because she is so pretty !

This said, I admit that God is really very very unfair !

There's nowhere near the expression in her performance as her mannerisms would suggest.

Weder kann ein Künstler etwas Eigenes aussagen, oder nicht . Sie kann es definiv nicht . Und daran ist niemand schuld, auch nicht ihr Lehrer, von dem ich musikalisch im Übrigen viel halte . Siehe z.B. Herbert Schuch !

Wenn sie dir nicht gefällt, ist das ja okay. Aber warum musst du das unter jedes ihrer videos schreiben, es scheint dir ja wirklich ein herzensbedürfnis zu sein?!?!

Auch wenn mich ihre vermarktung total nervt, ist sie eine sehr sehr gute pianistin, und das muss man ihr zugestehen anstatt vage von zuviel kopf und zu wenig herz zu reden, das kann man immer sagen, über jeden, denn dafür braucht man nicht zu argumentieren.

Ihr Spiel wirkt einstudiert und künstlich, zum Teil sogar völlig schülerhaft .Gerade bei Chopin hört man es sehr deutlich . Zu viel Kopf, zu wenig Herz .Ich würde mich freuen, wenn sie sich zu einer besseren Pianistin weiterentwickeln würde, im Moment fehlen ihr jedoch noch sehr viele Dinge, ohne die sie, meiner Meinung nach, noch nicht zu den Bestsellern der Klassikszene gehören sollte!

Endlich mal ein paar sachlichere Worte.

Leider muss ich in Bezug auf Chopin zustimmen, die Walzer waren gar keine gute Wahl für eine Debüt-CD.

Aber das Mädchen ist gerade mal 21 Jahre alt und die Künstlichkeit ist eher der "Stallgeruch" ihres wohlbekannten Lehrers als ihr Fehler.

Lasst sie sich erst ein bisschen freispielen, und in ein paar Jahren wird sie uns alle überraschen!

Ich finde ihr Spiel wirklich nicht toll. Sicher kann sie gut Klavierspielen,studiert und durchdenkt alles sorgfältig, aber heutzutage ist das nichts besonderes mehr , das können sehr viele und von Künstlern, die von der Deutschen Grammophon und vom Markt so wie sie hochgepusht werden, erwartet man wahrlich etwas ganz anderes!!!

Sie spielt einfach grauenvoll. Es ist ein geschmakloses und künstliches spiel. Mit manierierten rubati ohne Farben und gänzlich ohne Leidenschafft und Temperament.

@paranikipara1 completel uninteresting comment....This rendition carries more emotion than many others, including those by very well kown people, like Brendel for instance. Such a performance byh a 19 year old girl is simply amazing. I bet she will be 21st century Martha Argerich.

Well, I'm very impressed by Alice Sara; undoubtedly a great talent.

But this interpretation... Is the abrupt change of tempo within the opening deliberate?

Shouldn't the semi-quavers have the same value in theme 1 and theme 2? In theme 2 they sound like quavers... This mistake is very popular among pianists, it seems to have become a real habit... ts, ts, ts...

Very capable generally,tho the bumpy opening trills may betray nerves?But this girl has no sense of theatre,drama or tragedy,all is bright & breezy,the tone stays neat&superficial.Harmonic depth seems to have no meaning for her. Not one i'll be going far to hear.

I'm sorry but these noises were not seen in the original.

Its a kind of contamination when I record it in analog mode from digital source. I couldn't make out the reason.

But I'll try to eliminate these noises some day in the future.
