The original can still do quite a bit of damage around corners, but I think the ability to RJ consistently from both sides and not have to compensate for right side bias when at close range outweighs being able to shoot around some corners.

If you don't have to deal with sentries, and cover isn't a factor, then the original is always better because of what you said.

- regular can fire around walls

- only regular can be strange

- it sounds more like a RL, looks more like a RL, and has a nicer feel to it (again: this is an opinion; see the trend?)

- regular can only fire around SOME walls. If the wall you need to shoot around is on the opposite side of the screen, then you are at an even bigger disadvantage than if you were using the Original.

-regular can be strange, but I'd rather have function over tracking kills which are likely to be farmed.

no, he's been using the capital-O Original, so the title is lamenting that fact in light of the gameplay, where he gets two flick airshots and then a flick airshot -> juggle, implying that he is more accurate with the stock rocket launcher, which is the generally accepted term for the vanilla weapon. the Original (and little-o original) refer to the quake RL.
