  • eggs,chips n beans n a cafe with a smoke afterwards....i miss old England & hate what it's become

  • @duffo1974 -

Sorry mate - I "downed" this comment when I wnated to "up" it! Totally agree with you. The other one is a pint and a smoke...

  • @duffo1974 Curry is good as well though, isn't it?

  • @duffo1974 Fascist!

  • @THESTAFFIECHANNEL ah yes, nostalgia is fascism... maybe he just hates Starbucks?

  • @duffo1974 YEP

  • @duffo1974 All curry and shit now.

  • @duffo1974 true

  • @duffo1974 Don't we all

  • Madness has a typical sound that cannot be found to any others ska bands at this time. Someone says it wasn't ska, but never mind, I'm french and found of madness because of this "exception". videos are fun, and they are all good musicians. Some days I regret this time, I saw them in 1986 in Paris and it's written on my mind.

  • @duffo1974

    it's still ace mate

  • Its not Spanish at the start. Suggs says "hi there folks, welcome to the Tommy Cwimes combo" a couple of the band members dads played with the Tommy Cwimes combo in the early 1960s and 70s....no offence...

  • the best tune the nutty boys ever did... and they have done some classics....

  • Have always loved this song! My mum loves it too - and she's 83!

  • what a brilliant catchy song

  • ok an instrumental then lol

  • There is a lyric - "Waiter".....

  • @HAMFARPICTURES Sorryyyy Mr.Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky

  • @MADNESSRULE2K8 Well if you really were sorry, you would not answer sarcastically. sounds more like an ego stuff of yours here...

  • @studiohamfar No Your Right I Was Been Sarcastic..But I Was Making A Point Of A Song Doesnt Have To Have Words ,No Ego-tistical Way Ment , Its Just A Point Trying To Get Accross

  • Its has to be said how can musicians make such a classic song, i'd love to know how they do it - or indeed driven to making this. pure genius without going over the top

  • Mike Barso - Pure Genius. If a little unstable. Sorry Mike. :))

  • I'm drinking coffee calmly, with extra milk whilst watching this video lovingly

  • love it. barson was always my fav

  • Always brilliant vids and Happy Tunes

  • This song by Madness is amazing, SKA.. but it reaches across. I have listened to this song 20 TIMES, and it just doesn't get boring.. the video is superb... why oh why cant we in Britain ignore the COFFEE houses.. and go back to a CAFE

  • i Second that!!

    SAVE THE 'GREASY SPOONS'!

  • I agree there, 100%, cra83

  • Fuck i remember this!! it was when me and the girl were Driving in my car she said it was an Embarrassment i nearly pissed my Baggy Trousers Then we broke down and who arrived but Micheal Caine Well my missus was Lovestruck So we took The Night-boat to Cairo but my missus dismisses this and says we would be better taking a Ghost Train to see Uncle Sam I said no way that is One Step Beyond and the Grey Day!!! continued as we just spent the night in Our House with 5 friends and we listened to THIS

  • LOL @ xcxchrissiexcx Nice one!

  • Well done Annie it is a total blast of a song and i love it so much.

  • Me too, xcx. One of my Madness favourites, this one.

  • lov ve cok caan in ve biginin´

  • Suggs, what a genius

  • What a perfect peice of music , long live The Nutty Boys

  • versione piu' lunga rispetto la disco!

  • Time was when the new Madness video came out, you made a point of seeing it, even this quirky number. Absolutely the best type of music, cos dancing to it was easy. Even dads could do it without looking like dicks

  • Maybe im wrong, but the greatest music groups (the old ones, there´s no greatest group in the earliest 10 years ago) come fron Englad, or , in some way, are related to the uk

  • madness, the specials, the beat are still going mate so we still got the greatest bands u will ever get 2hear

  • Madness still playing?

  • Of course. If you've missed the latest of the nuttiest sound around, it's your loss.

  • No idea...Dam that´s good news

  • 1 word is madnessssss

  • what a song 1 word

  • From the US here. A friend gave me the "One Step Beyond" and "Absolutely" records after receiving them as a gift. He declared them Shit. I gladly took them off his hands because I thought they were brilliant records. Any group that could go from the jangled cacophony of Baggy Trousers to the loungy smoothness of the Return of the Los Palmas 7 was genius in my mind. My friend later demanded his records back when Our House was released. I refused. He didnt deserve such find records.

  • good call mate, if he didn't appreciate them in the first place he doesn't deserve to have them, lol

  • Exactly! Shows he didn't appreciate them at all.

  • Well done. He only wanted them back when they were fashionable.

I had a die-cast Mach V from Japan before the Speed Racer hype in the 70's, and my little friends dissed it so much... until they found out ;-P

  • wah´ is i Mach V, cos I guess i´ isn´ a raza´bla´e.

  • Speed Racer's racecar

  • Woody looks about 14 in this video. He still does.

  • who in the uk remembers when you could go into a cafe, sit down and have a fag, a mug of tea and a bacon sandwich good times!!

  • agree mate, i used 2 go in a cafe near chelsea now its a bistro or some other bollox, no more pie n mash, no proper pubs....this country has lost it's heart n soul and i, like many, want out!

  • Blame the Nu-Labour party!

  • i do! lol

  • yeah good times , why take that away

  • @potterxt600ttr250c90 yeah it was about 3 and a half years ago mate two and a half if you take off the year ago when your message was first written .

  • the 7th single by the 7 members of madness which also has 7 letters reached number 7 here in england, fact.

  • hehehehehehe look at suggs!

  • This always makes me smile when i hear it:-)

  • Fantastic,oh i wish Madness were back in the charts, happy days.

  • what a gem! love this little tune!!
