My mom was diagnosed with Lymphoma and has some lumps in her abdomen. How quickly does this technique work? Is it immediate or do you have to do this a few times before the drainage begins?
Immediately after surgery, you can work without oil and without disturbing the stitches, by doing a gentle pulsing rhythmic motion at the lymph node clusters = inguinal/groin, axillary/armpit, cervical/sideofneck, popliteal/backofknee. The pumping will increase circulation and flush out excess swelling (lymph fluid)
She seems very intelligent, I have seen some of these videos where the massuese was massaging a clients neck and said that it was part of the trapizius process. oops thats wrong!
Would this massage technique unload the caecum from any old build-up that's in there ?

@mersylla yes indeed! gentle persistent rhythmic movement that replicates bowel perastalsis can help increase the waste elimination.
