@N1DE0N To be precise, the "delay" to advance to Moscow was the 2 month Halt, this was the result of Adolf Hitler's temptation to split the Army Group Center, one half to continue the advance on Moscow, the other to take Stalingrad.
Although, Josef Stalin was just as determined to hold Stalingrad as Adolf Hitler was to take it. Thus, the bloodiest war in the pages of history.
@ThePeacefulPacifist To be even more precise, Army Group Center was sent on the march to Stalingrad later, after the defeats near Moscow (right when Wehrmachts offensive was in halt and soviets counter attacked) , in other words known as "Operation Typhoon".
Excellent video, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Refreshed my knowledge.
Please feel free to share anything on my channel or in my private messages, you are a respectable individual, would be a privilege to discuss History with you.
