I am not a Serra fan but he did come Canada where people hate him . Man they were scared that if he won some dumb ass would shot him. With all that he still fought . I think if this fight was anywhere else it would have been a better fight and when there is a rematch and there will be one St.Pierre will still win .
As much as Serra gets on my nerves, he came to Canada he fought and he lost. For a small guy he has done very well in the 170lb weight class. He even beat St. Pierre in their first fight. As much as Serra gets on my nerves, he came to Canada he fought and he lost. For a small guy he has done very well in the 170lb weight class. He even beat St. Pierre in their first fight. I predicated that St. Pierre would win this fight and I think St. Pierre is the better fighter by far. GSP is one of the best fighters in the UFC today. He is young and still learning, in a few years he will be unstoppable. The only person I think who could stop GSP who is close to his weight is Anderson Silva

For sure there has been a few fights that leave you scratching your head,thinking wow fixed.However there are some that leave you saying NO WAY.You just never know,i think perhaps that starnes had only a one fight contract that was prolly finalized or he had to win to make more.After he realized he couldn't win he figured why bother,take the set contract and run.Problem is that he will have a hard time getting another contract after that poor display.

Fighters talk in such absolutes, but one of them will be wrong. Those knees, though were killer. Matt is a good and funny guy but he got his ass beat. Anything can happen in a fight and just because the great GSP is bigger and stronger doesn't guarantee victory, it's only a supplement to luck and thinking in the ring.

Woot I justed watched it.. GSP worked serra the entire time. Serra couldnt do anything. Completely dominated. I think a serra vs gsp 3 would be the same outcome as hughes vs gsp 3.
