Fantastic! I happened upon this video by accident, and it was great. I play a 1920-something english openback banjo, and I've also been playing piano for a long tim. I'm learning that rag on the piano right now. great melding of the two styles.

What kind of banjo do you use? I know it's a tenor on this one but what company makes them? I'd like to get into banjo playing. What other good companies are there?

Hi.

This is a "Richelieu" banjo- a "Ne Plus Ultra", made in Wisconsin. You could check out "Ome", or "Deering" or "Goldtone" banjos as well.
