  • I want to go to Bhutan now.

    The place sounds amazing.

  • I have never laughed so hard at a tv show. this is awesome.

  • What is the Hawaiian word Rich says at 12:02? That sounds very interesting. There is such a word in Lojban called "co'e" meaning "whatever word would normally make sense here", like instead of "mi klama le ckule" (I went to school), you can say "mi co'e le ckule" (I -fill in the right word yourself- to school). That a natural language has this is cool.

  • @ChristopherDone wiki/Da_kine

  • @Jolanizer Thanks, that's so da kine!

  • bill bailey looks like he's going to cry for some reason

  • Finland approves!

  • 7 people liked this episode so much they turned the screen upside down so they could like it again

  • Bebo!

  • I'm sorry, what's falatily (not sure how to spell it, never heard it before)?

  • The woman above the first A from ALOHA is definately A MAN!!!

  • I cant believe that 7 people dislike it... who dislike this???

  • and no deadweight = phil jupitas...awesome! :)

  • @ukdj35

    Amen, brother!

  • Wonder if Sudan is still the majority of the Nile considering the recent secession.

  • aw, alan at 09:16.. bless.

  • I had never heard of this show until I discovered it watching Rob Brydon videos the other day, we sadly don't have it here in America to my knowledge at least. While it is extremely funny and all My favorite part has to be the theme song. It kind of makes me want to dance or something.

Oh, and thanks for the upload as well!

  • Wait, Alan didn't get a vacation? That's so sad. Poor guy.

  • @shinrenx haha, I doubt any of them did. They probably all got told to research certain places.

  • Sean Lock instead of Brydon would've been the best possible if keeping Alan there.

  • I was multitasking on my computer until I heard Rich Hall was on the show. Dropped it all and just watched the episode.

  • Philately is the study of stamps

  • Wrong island Rich Hall. The Mauna Loa he's talking about is located on the island of Hawaii or as we locals like to call it, the Big Island. He's right about Da Kine though. lol.

  • 25:20 It has been shown on Mythbusters that, if there is a fault, blue ice can fall, and has in the past.

  • that's a Gibson'71 with a flying pickup in it... brilliant!!!!!!

  • Mavericks, Santa Cruz, Ca 13:05... while talking about Hawaii... WHATEVS, WE FAMOUS!

    *Santa Cruz bloke

  • Mavericks, Santa Cruz, Ca @13:05 - we famous.

  • @QuestionAuthority999 series G episode titled Groovy, he has won more than once though in the episodes i have watched, not sure what the others are

  • @QuestionAuthority999 lots of times, but Fry is always surprised.

  • @QuestionAuthority999 I remember that he has.... but no which episode though.

  • @QuestionAuthority999 He has once as far as I can remember.... not sure which episode it was though

  • I wonder what it'd be like if Frankie Boyle ever went on QI

  • They are wrong about the age of consent in The Vatican. It is the same as Italy's, since Italy's laws automatically became The Vatican's laws up until January 1st 2009. Italy changed its age of consent before that date to age 14, and thus The Vatican's age of consent is 14. Italy may have changed it since 2009, but they now have to be ratified by The Vatican before becoming law.

  • whats alans tune? I cant remember what it's called/

  • @EdwardBellaRen - da da da da der da, da da da da der da, da da da der da, da, der! ;-)

  • @TrollingAround haha lol whats the NAME of the tune?

  • Isn't this the episode they got in trouble for, that Japan got ticked off about due to a misunderstanding of the segment on the luckiest/unluckiest man?

  • Has alen ever won?

  • @danielbudzynski He's won several times. Actually in terms of numbers of wins he's probably near the top of the leaderboard - but his win:loss ratio is pitiful :)

  • Once, I think, danielbudzynski.

  • WebMB says--

SPF is not a consumer-friendly number,” says Florida dermatologist and American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) spokesman James M. Spencer, MD. “It is logical for someone to think that an SPF of 30 is twice as good as an SPF of 15, and so on, but that is not how it works.”

According to Spencer, an SPF 15 product blocks about 94% of UVB rays, an SPF 30 product blocks 97% of UVB rays, and an SPF 45 product blocks about 98% of rays.

((SPF 100 MIGHT lead to less skin damage.))

  • SUOMI! <3

omg, they actually know that??? :D

greeting from Finland (aka. Suomi) ^^

  • kazakhstan is a part of europe !!!!!!!

  • Detention? What happened there?

  • 最低だ!!!!

  • BBCにはがっかりだ。でも、時刻の列車システムも笑いものにしているのだよな。

  • Thank you so much Waynesayonara! This is a treat. Greetings from Finland. :D

  • I could have done without Rob Brydon.

But I can always do without him, really.

Also, Bill and he don't seem to be the greatest friends either.

  • @Kafeifei Really? I thought Rob and Bill got on spiffingly!

  • @meehore Everytime Rob says something in this episode, Bill gets this face. It is the face I make everytime Rob says anything.

  • @Kafeifei I feel the exact same way, I just don't get his humour...well apart from his impressions of Ronnie Barker :P

  • What has Edison got to do with the telephone and "Hello?" It was Alexander G. Bell that invited the phone.

  • @dusthat - Bell was the first to patent the telephone but effective stole the idea from Elisha Gray...Or so the story goes.

  • @dusthat edison invented the word hello. as for A G Bell inventing the phone he was meant to have stole it from Elisha Gray

  • @preytec Don't forget poor old Antonio Meucci

  • WHY HAVEN'T I SEEN THIS EPISODE BEFORE?! THANKYOUUUUU!!!!

  • Ignaz Semmelweis, sieg heil!

  • @MultiUniv3rsal you like to be multi cultural....

  • @CrackeLackin666 I just wanted to promote victory welfare for the hands-washing guy :)

  • @MultiUniv3rsal ahhhh ok, you know coming from germany, you can never be sure of some one who screams "sieg heil" ;D

  • No trip for poor Alan. I wonder what he did to get detention?

  • Rob reminded me of an old childhood song:

People, would you please refrain from flushing toilets while the train...

Is in the station, it's against the rules.

When the train is in the station, we encourage constipation,

When the train is moving, so can you.

  • The Dutch are billiant! :) They know guitars ;)

  • @JankeyL thnx

  • @Lasstpak Not a problem, I'm Dutch myself LOL

  • "Your classical education has failed you again!"

  • I thought the English name for Holland was The Netherlands. Has it changed?

  • @madziek23 Well as Stephen himself as said if I recall correctly, calling The Netherlands 'Holland' is like calling Great Britain 'East Anglia'

  • @oshadak Thanks a lot for your reply! :)

  • @madziek23 Well, there is still the province of Holland in the Netherlands, and I think that that's what they are referring to.

  • @profane1972 That is quite interesting :) thanks a lot for clarifying it!

  • Alan just came up with my new money making scheme; university's tough, people.

    &Yay! Hong Kong's mentioned. <3

  • They showed a picture of Sealand (another region in Holland) when they talked about the Polders.

  • @goldengm

As you may know, Sealand is also the name of the world's smallest island. It's actually visible from Harwich which Alan (I think) gave as a wrong answer to the Hiroshima question.

    Quite Interesting.

  • I didn't get robs joke. Someone explain plz?

  • @freakondat Its a malapropism on the phrase "Flattery will get you nowhere".

  • @IsNully i thought he had said something insulting. Thanks.

  • @freakondat Also a bit of a joke on the fact that they're stamps. They're supposed to send things places. But collecting them "gets you nowhere."

  • goddamn, that philately joke was unbelievably clever. it's one of those jokes where im caught in between laughter and awe.

  • @southsydney Please tell me you are being sarcastic. That joke was old 50 years ago. I know, I used it in school back then and had to duck flying erasers (rubbers to all you brits), pencils and chalk. But most of my jokes got that reaction.

  • Awww, a shame that Alan didn't get to go on "holiday". Rob was brilliant with the stuff from Hungary.

  • For the "Holiday" episode, they should have gone with that couple that was in New York for 9/11, London for the subway bombing, and Mumbai for the 26/11 bombings. Granted, none of those places begin with H, but they actually were on holiday.

  • Mauna Loa is on the island of Hawaii, not the island of Maui.

  • i really want to resurrect oscar wilde and have him on the show

  • so good having it on one page!

  • thanks from New Zealand! xx

  • Thank you for posting.

  • I was honestly and truly impressed by Rob's presentation. He did a really great job with the 'homework'.

  • Rob's presentation: A+

    Bill's presentation: A

    Rich's presentation: B-

  • are the panelists are credited as "bantermesiters" at the end of every episode? I only just noticed it.

  • This is like the best panel combination possible

  • @fatedreamer mb dara obrien would be great too :)

  • @fatedreamer

I have to disagree. I feel the best panel would replace Rich Hall with David Mitchell, and then intentionally do something to piss him off. Also, I'm torn between Brydon and Jupitus. Depending on what the topic is, either can shine.

  • @JacobGreyson David Mitchell, no. Jo Brand, yes.

  • @PhantomObserver NO! She is SO unfunny!

  • @fatedreamer Word. I'd LOVE david mitchell in there too, only I don't think I can take anyone out!

  • @fatedreamer 0nly thing that could be better is David Mitchell there as well!

  • @cupotrevor Agreed. And given his recent form I'd also have liked to see Ross Noble.

  • @cupotrevor He and Bill Bailey would have some amazing banter!

  • @cupotrevor Nah. Replace Rob Brydon with Rob Noble and I'd be happy.

  • @cupotrevor Yes, instead of Rich Hall.

  • @fatedreamer I agree, everyone's humor styles are perfectly balanced.

  • @fatedreamer If you have a love of repetitve jokes, no sense of humour, and enjoy recycled shit, then of course it is.

  • @Vault101Reject no, you're thinking of russell howard

  • damn you man i was just about to go to sleep and then i se this pop up :P

Many thanks apreciate the work :)

  • First!

    Thanks so much waynesayonara!
