i love nick cave, more than most of you. However, he tends to look down on most interviewers with a complete lack of respect. Almost to the point of being arrogant. I dont like seeing lots of his interviews reach an awkward point it seems to be happening more and more lately.

In my opinion the latest Bad Seed's album wasn't their best, but it was a brave step in a new musical direction and it's going to be really interesting to see what he does next. But it goes to show that Dig Lazarus Dig might not have been Cave's best, but it trumped every other artist out there. He undoubtedly still has it. I do want to emphasise that I do like the latest album, I just don't think it's his best album.

mr cave's stressed cuban taxi driver look plays out his baldness well. seriously, the quality of this mojo interview seems lacking in soul. the questions light, opportunity wasted.and the whole run of mojo awards is a mightily tiring thing for this reader to have have to put up with continuously.renting a venue to hand out yet more self-minted gongs mayve seemed a good idea at a mojo editorial meeting. but not to this reader though.pure relentless filler.call this crap off and focus on articles.

It baffles me that journalists who are often extremely privileged to meet and converse with such icons as Nick Cave, could be so utterly unprepared, unethusiastic and ask such cliched questions. Terrible interview.
