If you do slow motion on Kurt Buschs onboard camera, you can see saddlers car spin in the air. And if you time the second view, the whole wreck looked like Phil finneys daytona wreck many years back.

NASCAR did not give Sadler the number of G-forces recorded by the black box device and the governing body typically does not release that information.
"We do not share those numbers except with the team and the folks at the Midwest Roadside Safety Facility at the University of Nebraska," NASCAR said in a statement.
"They want to meet with me this weekend," Sadler said on Tuesday. "But we were told this morning that it was the hardest one they have in their data in history."

"Jimmy Johnson drove straight through us"...no Kurt you can't keep your car going straight..it shows...always hitting the wall in the corner...I've seen worse bump drafting than that (Talladaga, Daytona) and guys don't spin out...I think it just caught Kurt off guard....maybe he turned him who knows...Elliot was just along for the ride once he got rear ended.

i wish my atv was as safe as these cars, i got a broke left wrist, broke right thumb, a sprained and bruised left knee(hurts worse than wrist, but i can walk on it. i flipped over the handlebars going around 60mph and the atv landed on top of me, my neighbor seen the whole crash, he said he swore he thought i was dead, but as soon as i stopped sliding i got up it sucks because i just spent 2 weeks and $400 on it, now i got to spend around $500 to get it back right, i hope its not more than that

how come they can't install cameras on all of the cars? i mean if the cameramen can't get a good view of an incident then they could get a few views from the other cars. but anyway i'm glad elliot's okay! :D

@nascarjohnsonfan48 the sponsors have to buy the cameras. you see the logos in view of the cameras? thats advertising that they have to pay for. and those cameras are expensive. and to quote the team owners and car designers, "if it dont make it faster, we dont do it, unless its mandatory". which is why they have the "big mac" capsules on the top of all cars and the weight of a camera in them. w/o them it is an aero advantage. so they give them to all teams, but you have to buy the cameras

Jimmie was trying to help him and clint was also drifting on the side i am a kurt fan dont get me wrong but he was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. I am so glad that elliot is ok wow that was a hard hit thank god they have made them use all the COT and the HANS now in nascar if not he may have never walked away from that one keep up the good work mike on keeping these guys safe

First of all, I'm not a J.J. fan. (he actually makes NASCAR boring, even to a life long fan) But, he did nothing wrong. 2nd, ESPN SUCKS at NASCAR! Please let their contract expire and give it SOLELY to Fox.. And last, I've been LISTENING to NASCAR since your DADDY was in diapers! (Believe it or not, there was a time when it wasn't even on tv. But if you grew up in the south, like me, you could usually find it on the radio. Or you just went to the race!)
