Lets get off the patrotic subject for one second. The USA has passed the USD 700-800B deal to rescue the crippling banking industry. Why would EADS risk on worring about having their bills paid by the US on credit from offshore funds from European Union Banks. This 40B deal will just add more credit to an alreading credit driven country such as the US.
Thats so stupid. The KC-30 won because it delivers more fuel, faster, more secure, can haul more cargo and its already been tested and modern fly by wire design. Also it won in 4 of 5 categories set by the USAF. While the KC-767 did NOT!. Its clearly so superior that all US allies bought(RAF,RAAF, etc..) it. But if you want an outdated crappy tanker with a untested flawed boom please go on... Oh btw, the KC-30 will have almost the same US content then the KC-767 and will make 12000 jobs.
IAM837, the belgians,bought F84F bombers from the US of A, then F104 fighters, then F16 from the US of A in the mean time they bought 101 and M 105 howitzers etc .That's only for the military. The belgians citizen bought a lot of american stuff since the end of the war. My uncle use to buy big american Chevrolet cars now he has a Peugeot. Why ? Because it's better and cheaper. Now it's your choice: you can buy an inferior product for the same amount of "tax dollars".Yes you can be stupid.
