It's faroese.

It's related to swedish, norwegian, icelandic and danish if you go back a thousand years. So yeah... a scandinavian language of a sort. It used to be a single language called "norse" back in those days.

very different like the German language. Only the word "morgunsendingini" is very similar to the German word "Morgensendung".

It's more similar than you think. Americans, overhearing me speaking in my native tounge, asked me if I was german, when I was in the US!
