Have you looked at how the the 2000T is done? same parts but has a small 11-13 hp engine for running the roots blower making it way more suitable for household currents as the hard work is done by the engine.
@TheFiremansavage Its hooked up to a 30 amp cuircut. It was originally on a 15, and it had no problem spooling it up. The only difference i noticed was it spools faster on the 30 amp.
I took the hose off of a shop vac, hooked it to the exhaust port, and then shoved the hose up the blower pipe. I then packed plastic bags in around it to act as a gasket. the siren is sitting on bricks so I could get under it.
do u think you could make another test vid and dedicate it to me in a way like as a thank you for being a fireman just athaught please reply telling me what you think
I would like to but I kinda can't. Its too loud to run outside (Which is where it currently is) and too heavy to drag around the house back to the garage just to run it once. If I do make another video of it i will be sure to throw mention of you in there.
ok cool im not tryin to sound pushy or anything so dont take this differently but you dont have to sound it off if u just taped it like where it is outside and not set it off that would be fine if u cant thats cool too just let me know
With the amount of noise this thing makes I wouldn't be surprised if low flying aircraft could hear it. On a more serious note, while I haven't run it while I was outside, and taking into consideration how flimsy the door is, Quite a bit I would have to say.

TheFiremansavage 1 year ago
@TheFiremansavage I cut the end of the extension cord off, stripped the wires, and then attached them to the chopper motor wires.

@lumpysnake oh that makes sense, thanks, check out my mini siren video and let me know what you think please
Thunderboltjunkie 2 years ago
how did u set it off with no control pannel
TheFiremansavage 2 years ago
I attached an extension cord directly to the chopper motor. Then I simply plug it in and it goes.

because u have it pointed away from the outside does it make any noise outside the garage at all

i know how to get more air in...
3 vacuum cleaners, hook up the output air into the thunderbolt
hootergirlsrhot 2 years ago
it blows dust and stuff out. i think the blower is around 6 psi, 7.5 hp motor. correct me if i am wrong people.
dillonrockband 2 years ago
it is 6.5 psi
bait28 2 years ago
Not a whole lot. Mostly because its just a
shop vac as opposed to an actual blower.
lumpysnake 2 years ago
Wow that's pretty good! I want to rig a leaf blower up to my 1000T now.
Blue10AEMia 2 years ago
a new use for leaf blowers, lol. that or turn your leaf blower its self into a siren if you can access the fan

talk to your local EMS for any retired sirens, they are usually happy to get rid of them to anyone.
hellsmaw84 2 years ago

Nelso90 2 years ago
Lol yeah, I could hear shit around me vibrating. Very loud siren + very small space = bowel movement. :P

LOL
crazywarriorman 2 years ago
You should try a leaf blower. I heard it triples the sound
sizzlin321 2 years ago
Yeah i was actually thinking about it. But alas i don't have an electric leaf blower.
lumpysnake 2 years ago
There's really no point in running one without the horn on like in your other video. Horn installed is the only way to go.
vanamonde2 2 years ago
Oh yeah no doubt about it. Not only does it sound better, it looks cooler too.
lumpysnake 2 years ago
Sounds like a chrysler on the Wind up.
LNERMallard 2 years ago
