but actually, doesn't seem like you havent done much to claim that its your first 'animation', cause it like as if you saved a bitmap image from somewhere, imported it into Anime studio and just manipulated the image using the Manipulation tool. Unless, you have drawn that yourself that is.

try binding your layers together and doing the arms and legs, then a switch between that and the trade mark whirl wind and your have a far more impressive piece of animation, looks like you've got the tracing down though...

I followed the tutorial for a morn (to really get every detail of the tutorial) and there you go you I was set to make my first animation.

Use File menu>import>image

OR

Add new Image layer, then select an image and click OK.
