The werewolves don't have any pupils and are quadrupedal where as the lycans are bipedal and are shorter in height (If a pureblood werewolf stood up next to a lycan) both agile but lycans retain more in terms of brute strength where as Werewolves depend mainly on pounce and grapple tactics

question: I didn't understand this part at all. who were those people in chain? i was assuming they were the warewolves in human form... so why were the first generation warewolves who can't turn back into human form attacking them knowing that they are also warewolves just in human form. and how did Lucian change without a moon???????

@MusicLuv80 You need to watch all 3 movies in full! Human rulers offer the human in chain to the vampires as protection fee. So Raze (the black guy) isn't a lycan here, not yet. Lucian is a 2nd generation lycan, that's why he looks different from the attacking lycans, which are 1st generation created by William.

When you watch the movies, you'll hear Selene saying that lycans get more powerful as they get older and are not be affected by the moon. But the moon probably can still help because Lucian changes later in this movie after he was beaten and watched Sonja die.

@MusicLuv80 Vampires should get more powerful as they age too! I can only remember Victor killing Raze and not other vampires killing lycans BAREHANDLY. This is probably something we should ask the people who created the characters (which includes the actor who plays Raze!).

Lucian is an werewolf evlove to turn into a human and is triggered to transform on the sight of the fullmoon. But as he got older was able to control the transformmation.

Secondly , those Werewolves were African Slaves William turned hence their Coloration ! William was A Hungarian Albino !

@kenmctree after seeing awakening I would say you are mostly correct. I would just put Lucian above Victor since Lucian nearly killed him when they fought. Also that super Lycan from awakening would have to be the strongest character now
