  • wow I finally found the story about Buhda in khmer. This is great.

  • I´m Khmer and I was growing up with die Buddhism and I think that Buddhism is the only truth Religion !!!!!!

  • Hi all. I know that some of you still misunderstand about the Buddha. Buddha is not a god like Jesus, Alah etc. He is just a normal human like us. What's important he is an IDEALIST (like Platon, Socrate etc.). A lot of people respect his ideas, which is 100% true and no one can find the other opposite idea.

Again, if someone said Buddha is a god can create the world or can fly or never die, it's just their imagination.

Plus, Buddha never force someone to join this religion like Jesus, or Islam.

  • Hi anyone could tell me where I can get this video please?

  • Thank you for the video. Greetings from Sri Lanka

  • Buddha is right here! right here in my heart! he always be there with me. Always teach me the right way.

  • I love buddha..that is my culture..

  • Shame alot of us don't speak the lingo the whole message is lost on us.

  • satok satok

  • Thanks a lot from thorn thatch , to see Buddhas teaching

  • the chant in the beginning is linda

  • stop fighting ppl ....

  • Cambodian ( Khmer ) .....

  • you guys became Buddhist?

i was born Buddhist - then i accepted at later age that i was a buddhist. very interesting once you learn about it.

  • YES! REPRESENT!

i became buddhist when i was like 4 years old.

I always did tradtional dances and made speeches when i went to the temple

  • Buddhism is great.

I became a buddhist when i was 13 years old, and today i am almost 16. And the buddhism have made my life so much better.

    Thanks Buddha! Thanks Buddhism!

  • I became a buddhist when I was 13 too and I am 17 now! could you add me?

  • So what's your take on this video: Africans In Asia? Is this true?

  • dont believe taht bullcow. its nothing but distorting the information of people who dont know about asia. if you believe that story theory, it make all asia history never existed becase it go against how asian in general have a culture.

  • Well like it or not, the written history has always lied. The facial features on statues don't. Sometimes truth is hard to swallow. However, to each his own.

  • let me tell you, i been researching this kind of stuff for years. i am very open minded and very open to discuss and this debate this matter. you might be 13 years older than me im pretty sure i know more information than you.

this kind of thing is like a hobby for me, its interesting and i absorb every little detail of what i read about it

  • i tell you one thing you probably dont even know. it is true that, black people was the first people on earth and all other races came from them. this is probably the most scientific - real answer you can get. i dont totally agree with it but i will make it my final answer if someone question me who was the origin people.

like many other researcher out there, they wont say 100% sure black was first but they will agree they probably was first.

  • Well the word research says alot. It is the re searching of that which has already been searched and tidied up for you. We live in a Freemasonic World that has put out all history. So you've obviously show me you know far less than me. Truths are not a hobby for me, it is a vital aspect of life. Again absorbing every thing that you read is only absorbing what the PTB want you to know. You got a long way to go baby.

  • I would say that the freemasonic elite put out and are responsible for alot of history but not all history. I have friends that have been saying this for years and no have no evidence for their claims. Ive read many occult volumes on freemasonry and historical books on their kingdoms and societal influence. They're powerful, yes but they didnt create every religion and all of history. Impossible for any group, even them. Also, this is a buddhist vid, take that to NWO and Illuminati posts...

  • Evidently you're not as learned as you might think. What does African heritage have to do with Illuminati/NWO posts is beyond me. If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

  • More empty big-man threats from people without proof for their claims. You answered your own questions about what your post has to do with this video...it has nothing to do with it. Maybe you should get out of the kitchen when the historians are talking...go play hopscotch *hands you lolly pop*

  • True historians? Baaaaaa waaaaa ha ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

  • I've already stated and hinted to the African origins of this issue. Are we on the same page? In either case, glean on and if you find something new/revealing, please feel free to share. Nuff said for now.

  • we can pm each other and i can elite you on those history. i can probably answer all your question. i just want people like you to open up.

  • i went a little off topic due to character limited. just crumble stuff in one paragraph. yes i do have a long way to go. i'm too tired to even type it here - and your pretty smart what you are saying. if we will go on replying this replying to each other back and forth will go on forever.

therfore yes, we can be Freemasonic. its up to the people who can go on deep to find the real answer for all of this. which include both of us if we will study more about both side of the story.

  • Yes, however again, there comes a time when you find sufficient enough a truth or not being able to find the truth somewhere and you make the wise decision to move on!! All the best to you.

  • I wish there were english subtitles for this =D

  • I am 13 years old and I found this interesting.

  • This is a nice video, but the language is way too deep for today's khmer kids to understand. I hope they could make a more basic version.

  • If Khmer kids live in Cambodia or speak Khmer from young age, it is not difficult for them to understand this video.

  • Thank u 4 sharing :-)

  • this cube. The cube will sooner be full of seasame seed, but the Maha kappa is still going on. Maha kappa in called Eon in English.

  • Then there is final contraction where the galaxies will be distroyed. All that remain are the cosmic dust again which will come together and a new cycle on evolution-devolition starts. This cycle is called Maha Kappa in Pali. In one Maha Kappa there are many expansions and many contractions on the universe.

The Buddha also gave a simile the time which spanded in 1 Maha Kappa. Suppose there is cube of 10 miles on each side. Every century a man would drop a seasame seed in

  • hello i am new to Buddhism is there an after life

  • Where did you learn that? There is a name for such expansion? Have you experienced it?

  • Jessie, the Buddha talked about the creation. He talked in the Pathamma Kappa Sutta. It looks like doing domino in a ceycle. There is no true ending. It keeps one like the wheel that turns. You can start any where you want. The universe started by the cosmic dust material resulting from a destruction come together. From this countless galaxies evolve (Ananta Cakkavara in Pali). There is time of expansion (Vivatha Kappa in Pali) & contraction of these galaxies (Sangvatha Kappa in Pali).

  • This is very nice vid I learned from it, i am

Lao and I was a monk. When you become a monk we say "Buat" first is Jua then next is Kuba then the higher rank is Ajan. how do you you say in Khmer?

  • wierd i don't know but for a khmer guy to say yes is similar to "buat" and for a girl to say yes is like "jua" and ajan is like thank you in khmer we say ahkhon and for kuba i don't know just my theory ;)

  • God is the truth, who know?

otherwise, what is both religion is the truth, who know? that y i say it's hard to believe which one is real!

what if there is only one truth, so what we gonna do?

I have question to ask the believer of Budhism, ok, what does buddha say about the creation of the world? if anybody know please reply me back, i really wanna know. about me, i am still finding the truth! so please help me!

    thanks!

  • Hello jessies2metoer

Thanks you for your comments. It's hard to explan you to understand about Buddhism with just few pharagraphs because the Buddha teaching is the deepest teaching that normal people can't understand with just only study one or 2 days. The best way, you should try to read and understand what is Buddha teaching about the Noble Truths.

  • You have a good quesiton about "what does buddha say about the creation of the world?" I can't unswer you in here because it's the long talk of the Buddha about this. Please go to check "About this video" at the right hand of this episode I posted the link of Buddha talk about the Buddha Said about the creation of the world.

  • What does buddha say about the creation of the world?

Please check the answer in "About this video" of this video at right hand. I posted the link for you and hope it give you the clear answer about the creation of the world. May peace and happiness be with you!

  • Jessie, As you have asked a genuine question, I will give you my reply. The Buddha taught the world arises from our sense organs and we create the world according to our subjective perceptions and views.

Physically, the Buddha taught the world and our lives are created from natural elements, which are summarised as earth, wind, fire, water, space and consciousness.

  • im hindu but a vaisnava so i acknowlege the buddha

there is only on eabsolute truth however it has many inturpretations we hindus have one and the christians have another as do the muslums and the buddhists and the jains but there are all based on the basis of love and compassion and abolishing hatered and ignorance

  • nobody created the world not god or jesus or buddha is a natural cause

  • agreed brother

  • contrary to western misconception, buddha wouldn't be considered a god/creator. It's just what a person is called when they wake up or are enlightened. The Prince Siddhartha was a man very much like Jesus, but both could be considered a Buddha, because both woke up in their lives and enlightment.

  • Do you know about waking up or being enlightened? You know Siddharta and Jesus? You saw them wake up?

  • You know, according to Buddhism, i could very well say yes!

Also, I could just look at you and wait for you (or myself) to wake up, and then I saw the Buddha or the Christ. Everyone is really a Buddha and everyone is really the Christ once they realize.

  • TRUEE!!

  • 10deeep: Did some one create this channel or did it happen naturally? Was Utube a natural happen stance or did some one with genius mind came up with a concept?

  • huh? xD

  • @10DEEEP

What do you mean "natural cause"?

  • @10DEEEP ur r very right ,this is what is written in the suttas........

  • ok, people i am not going to argue with you two, i mean between buddhism and christain.

for what i think is that, i know that as christain, there is God, as you said God, God is one who told people to do ( i think kind of God is over man) but as in buddhsim, buddha is man ( so i think, chirstian is dominate the budhsim the name God). but i think, sometime the truth is hard to believe. example: let say even buddha is man but is the truth, who know?

example: let say God is over everything and

  • I'm not arguing against good works of doing good. But when it comes to dealing with the sin issue, our good "works" are as filthy rags.

One man sin-all die (Adam)and by one man death

-all live (Yeshua). If Christ die for all, then were are all dead.

Before Yahweh created man he already had a plan to redeem man back to himself knowing

that Adam would make the wrong choice in life.

You and I are given the freedom of choice to

    choose between good and evil.

  • Yeshua will restore the earth back to its original creation before Satan came and ruined it all for us when he tempted man to violate the only one commandment of the Creator which brought death to all humanity. Satan rebel against God in heaven. He was a created being to minister to him, but he chose to rebel against his creator and fought against him because he wants to be like God himself. Because of his pride he was cast out of heaven and he took revenge against God by causing man to sin.
  • Life, is in the blood. That is why it is not best to kill animals for consumption. Because u take away a life. There is coming a kingdom of God to earth call a "peaceable" kingdom, wherein reign righteousness, and Yeshua will be the King. We won't be eating meat; only fruit, veggie, grain, and nuts...) The lion will lay down with the lamb. The weapons of war will be turn into pruning hooks and plowshares. Man will live up to a thousand yrs. This is Gods plan & it will happen.
  • "For the wages of sin is death , but the gift of God is eternal life through Yeshua the Messiah.." Salvation is a gift, not of works lest man boast of his good deeds. Buddha does not have a solution for sin. Sin can only be atone for by blood. Without the blood there is no forgiveness of sin. Our sins are already bought and paid for by the blood of Messiah. Go read my profile and perhaps you will perceive this truth and be set free from your personal efforts.
  • Rely on other to bring the sin away from you is the pity full thought. One does good deeds for oneself is not the boast but it's the right way of the highest truth. There is no any cheating in the name of the Buddha. The Buddha gave the best solution to all human bings but the lazy one doesn't want to do good deed by oneself and likes to rely on this on that, it's not the right way for the truth. .

  • As I said before good or bad is according to your self and no one help you even though you have any kind of blood. I have read your profle already but it still can't make sense for me. Anyway, walk your way and try to do your best. I do my efforts for the reality not with the lazy good doing

  • Buddha Said"By oneself the evil is done, by oneself one suffers; by oneself evil is left undone, by oneself one is purified. Purity and impurity belong to oneself; no person can purify another person."

  • nice music.

  • Thanks so much, lilx!

  • thank you for upload this vedio is very good

i will used it for our radio show for khmer community in New Zealand do you mind

takecare happy khmer new year 2008

  • Oh, you are welcome. Happy New Year to you too.

I am glad you interesting in it. Yes, You can use it anywhere, I don't mind but happy to see your help spreading the Buddhism. May peace and happiness be with you!

  • There are millions of animals , poultry , fishs ,were killed by us everyday around the world ; The killers will at the end of their lives into Hell ;

Q.23 -Do people who consume the meats should go to Hell as the killers too ?

May peace be upon you always !

  • Man ate veggies only before the Great Flood.

After the flood, man started to eat meat.

It is not a sin to eat meat for it is

permitted by the Creator of life.

In the Millenium Kingdom, people will not need to eat meat. Get to like your veggies now.

  • Thank you HarmoniousHom , you have a good reason to post this comment . I think that Buddha and His family hadn't eaten meats even Krishna too .

    nutier

  • @nutier LMAO I am tantric buddhist and I eat meat all day LOL

  • What are you talking about Great Flood, HarmoniousHom? I have never heard about Great Flood in India. or you may talk about something else.

  • The Great Flood is recorded in the Bible. In the book of Genesis. Before the flood, people were able to live long lives of up to 900 years of age. Wasn't that cool? The flood was a judgment of the Creator on his creation for forgetting who he was as being the true source of life. He (the Creator) will judge this Earth again in the near future, not with a flood, but with a fire--that all can be perch will be perched of the dross of sin and wickedness. Buddha has no solution for sin. U sin today!
  • Yeah that makes ppl want to fallow your god hes gunna set everyone on fire fun fun sounds like crazy talk to me

  • It's for your sake that we are being warned of God of his impending judgment. He is being fare to his creation. He always gives warning before judgment. People who lived before the flood were warned of God to change from their wicked ways before he brought the flood upon them. They been warned for 100 years, but none took heed until salvation was taken away from them and they all drowned, excepts 8 people who believe in God.Today, no different. There are mockers and scoffers until its to late.
  • The Buddha has the best solution for sin. Why? He taught all beings to do good, to avoid bad, to purify the mind. If people do good deed they will be free from sin, if people do bad they will be sin, no any other or even god can help them. I can't judge you or myself who is sin or not, but If you are free from anger and hatred you are a noble one. You don't know what I am doing and thinking so you can't say I am sin or not sin.

  • You rely on the Bible about the great blooded. I resepect to every belief and religion but I don't support any religious person who use the dark thoguth to judge others. What you said is unreasable and it's just only in your dream and laziness in doing good.

  • Without the Bible I wouldn't be conversing with you. I have no ground on which to stand. The Word of God is a living oracle. Faith come by hearing and hearing by the word of God. God will judge humanity by his written word. That is his law for his universe. What is the purpose of having law without prosecution? Sin has to be judge. If you accept his remedy you will not be judge, if not, then u will be judge. God rather shew mercy instead of judg- ment. He loves u so much and wants to save u.
  • This is the first precept of Five Precepts

One must not deliberately kill any living creatures, either by committing the act oneself, instructing others to kill, or approving of or participating in act of killing. It is a respect to others' lives.

One should not deprive others (animals not excluded) of the right to live. If one is hurt or killed, one's family, relatives, friends will suffer. It is the cause of rebirth in Three Evil Paths.

  • What are Buddhists position on abortion?

  • If you practice the five precepts the Buddhim is the best solutions on abortion. No killing, if you do abortion means you break the first precepts of five precepts of the Buddha.

  • @HarmoniousHom Abortion is usually discourage because it's killing a life which can be an important figure to make a difference to this world, he/she can be a doctor who saves lives etc. unless the fetus is observed to be born a disabled baby, physical or brain disability, one should really respect the doctor professional decision.

  • The effect of killing to the performer are brevity of life, ill health, handicapped and fear.

In observing the first precept, one tries to protect life whenever possible. Furthermore, one cultivates the attitude of loving kindness to all beings by wishing that they may be happy and free from harm.

  • Five conditions of panatipata (Killing)

    1. The being must be alive.

    2. There must be the knowledge that it is a live being.

    3. There must be an intention to cause death.

    4. An act must be done to cause death.

    5. There must be death, as the result of the said act.

If all the said five conditions are fulfilled, the first precept is violated

The consumers won't go to hell if they just only eat but not instruct one to kill or enjoying with the killing.

  • We can't judge clearly if they will go to hell after the death but they will go to any place of Hungry Gosh Realm, Animal Realm, Asura Realm or Hell or they can be born in the Human Realm but they live in short life. We only know that one who broke this precept means commit sin, so they won't be born well.

  • 1st of all, i can't speak english too well.

I want to make some correction here.

"The killers will at the end of their lives into Hell"

The killers won't go to hell if :

    1. if the killers do it without their own wants, i.e. he is told to kill the animal by their boss. the killer will get bad karma(no doubt) but the one who will go to the hell or i can say get the bigger bad karma is the boss.

  • Thank you so much for your correction, my friend. However the killers must be in bad karma too if they do that because they need money from their boss.

  • @nutier There's something called the salvation method to bring those animal realms to higher realms. ROFL, oh dear even plants are lifeforms. Buddhism in the highest order regards all lifeforms with buddha nature, no matter how bad or how good.. It's really depend on your heart... forget it i wont bother to explain...zzzz..

  • Dear venerable Sir , I'm so happy for your advice . I should ask you only about Buddha dharma to see roots , truncs , leaves , and seeds of desire , and I will talk about the five aggregates of Buddha ( the metaphysique ), and at the end , the four noble truths .

Now , I continue to ask you in the same questions that I have asked to dhamma reksmay .

I would like to take the first precept to discuss with you ( no killing ) .

may peace be upen to you !

  • Peace and love, that we must spread on Earth!

  • I am Khmer. I don't believe in Buddhism, but I do agree with some of his teachings pertaining to do good to your fellow beings. What Buddha doesn't address in his teaching is how to deal with the SIN problem in human heart. Sin brought death into the world and the world is deluge in sin. For the wages of sin is death.

Until the sin issue of human kind is dealt with the hope of eternal life is void, it doesn't matter what kind of teaching a person may apply it cannot deliver us from death.

  • @HarmoniousHom you dont believe in buddhism, you understand and study it. you work hard and cultivate your own mind. It's a great deal of hard work through meditation. LMAO

  • Dear venerable Sir , the five precepts are : 1-no killing, 2- no lying , 3- no stealing , 4- no cheating/adultery , 5 -no drinking/addicted stimulants , in the opinion of dhamma reksmay .

Q.22- Do the five precepts could tame the evil minds .

May peace and happiness be with you !

  • Dear venerable Sir , I'm so happy for your responses in my comments corresponding of my questions ( Q.20, Q.21 ) .

You wrote that ( like Khmer proverb said " if you want the deva help you , you have to help yourself first and the deva will help you " . In the comparaison with attahe attano nadho = the first thing you should do is you take yourself as refuge or rely on yourself . I would like to know that, do its have the same meaning? .

  • reksmay wrote in my channel like this :( All humans have 4 elements = Earth , Water , Fire , Air .These 4 elements are Gods , who /which compose all of us ) .

Q.21 - Do we need God for our soul too ?

  • lovely!

  • Thank You!

  • Cool video. How come there are cambodians that converted to Christian? I know a few. Were they brain washed?

  • All believer are mostly the same by GOD. But only people who make each religious believing in different ways.......but actually all GOD SAME GOD IN THIS EARTH. GOD advise all human being to do good things to others and love one another no matter what. If we all do good things we recieve in good return. Well, this is what i been studies of all God's bible and khmer sang kret. :o) all talking about good thing to recieved good in return.

  • There are many gods and goddess in Buddhism but the Buddha is a great teacher in the three world all god, goddess and all beings are the followers or the students. Buddha taught his followers to avoid doing bad deed, to do good deed and to purify their mind. If all human beings follow His teaching, there will no any sufferings or pain. thank you sreysloat for your good idea sharing us.

  • You have a good question, titancurtain. I can't give you the certain answer but just want to tell you that, most people, they need help by sharing money or material for living, Buddhism never give anyone money for the sake of their beliefs. some people like being lifted higher and admire so they can so they can be converted from their root to other by giving somethings or some prosperities. If they try to learn to understand abit about Buddhism they can't be converted.

  • @Khmerbuddhist yup, respect to the study of the entire universe.

  • reksmay wrote in my comment like this ( In samsara, there are many world systems . These include the many levels of Hell as well as the many levels of Heaven ).

Q.17- I would like to ask you that : how many levels of Hell and Heaven we are ?

Q.18- By the opinoin of Buddha , are there only three worlds in the Universes ?

May peace and happiness be with you ! nutier

  • Dhamma Brother, I think these questions were already anwsered. So I don't need to answer again. If not yet, please let me know I will try to give you answer. :)

  • @nutier LOL good question.Broadly speaking, the Realms of Heaven may be divided into three levels. There are the Sensual Heavens, the Fine-Material Heavens and the Immaterial Heavens. LMAO when did the hell 3 worlds in the universes come about??? ROFL, according to what buddha observes, there are AT LEAST 3,000,000,000,000 human realms(samsara) in the universe dont even talk about the other realms. And our realm is only 1 solar system. 3 worlds? LOL LOL

  • Dear venerable Sir , I'm happy to continue to ask you the questions relativing about Buddha dharma .

Q.16 - Does the karma was born caused by the desire ?

May peace and happiness be with you !

    nutier

  • thankyou for the vid. Do you have the video in english ?

  • i love this one......

i am frm Nepal and i visited lumbini before i came US ....

  • is this hindi? Im having trouble understanding but I know its important Im hindi but this way different hindi from what I speak nice video:)

  • Oh, this is not Hindi but the song is in Indian style. The language reading about the Life of the Buddha is in Khmer (Cambodian Language). This is about the Life of the Buddha. If you want to read and to find out about the life of the Buddha in English please check " About This Video" Thank you!

  • ok thankyou.

  • You are welcome, smghazzanmy!

  • Q8- Before talking about Nirvana , I would like to ask you what's are the forms , the family links of desire ? . I think that, everybody knows only its names but few people who can tame its . It's the same as the cars that we see its shapes , its forms , its colors , but we cannot do that ; only few persons can make its too .

May peace and happiness be with you !

    nutier

  • Q7 - I would like to ask you about desire that if can we say the desire for sleep , the desire for material , the desire for life , the desire for love , the desire for mental , the desire for omotional etc. ? Q7 = question number 7 . If you will reply this quetion , please write ( A7 = answer number 7 ) , and so on .

Peace and happiness to you !

    nutier

  • I would like to ask you to read my quetion about Angulimala history in my channel that I didn't khown it correctly .

At the first, I note my following question number from this question :

06- I Would like to know what are the three poisons of desire, hatred and ignorance ? and , how are they appearing in the mind ?

    Peacefulday to you !

    nutier

  • Oh, nutier! Desire, Hatred and Ignorance are called three poison. Because they contain and keep all defilements happen in the mind. When the mind is purified by Precepts, Meditation and Wisdom, these three poisons will disappear and we will be an arahatt attain Nirvana.

  • These three poisons, we can call in other way: Greet, Hatred and delusion and it's other name is the Root of Unwholesome. Thank you for finding the answer to ask.

May peace and happiness be upon you always!

  • Oh. They are appearing to you everyday. If u want to see it it will appear. Is all around us is only how our mind perceive the three poisons.

  • Yes , I want to number all these questions and your Answers , but there aren't any dates in the comments .

I would like to ask you , what is the meaning of Arahanta ? Is it the same as Buddha ?

    peace and compassion ! nutier

  • Thank you for your more question, nutier! Yes, it's no date in the comment and we don't know how to do. You have the good more question about Arahanta or Arahatta.

The Arahat is the "Perfected One" who has overcome The Three Poisons of Desire, Hatred and Ignorance. At the end of the present life, he is no longer reborn. In other words, he is finally freed from the suffering of existence in the cycle of birth and death, and attains Nirvana.

  • General word is called Arahat. Every One who has attained Nirvana is called Arahat, That's the Buddha ans His disciples.

    Have a nice weekend, nutier!

    Peace and happiness to you!

  • I'm so happy for your answers . Would you like to say the word Buddha was used in Hinduism because it's the first religion for Indians ?

  • Yes, Hinduism is the first religion in India but the word Buddha is not the word for using only with Hinduism but for the general Indians used it. Even the word Arahanta is used before the Buddha got Enlightenment too. The religious leaders in India at that time knows how to say this word but don't know how to be Arahant.

  • During the birth celebration , the hermit seer Asita ( ascetic ) announced Siddhartha would become a Buddha . I would you like to know how the ascetic had found the word Buddha if this word was not used in India before Buddhism ? peace and happyness to you !

  • I believe he meant "a Great Holyman".

  • Yes VIKHMERIOUS! We can mean like that but every his achievement got from his destiny in the previous life including his effort in the present life. That was not happen from just sit and call it to happen.

Thank for sharing your good idea!

May peace and happiness be upon you!

  • I don't know I use the right English or not.

    Thank you for asking, nutier!

May peace and happiness be with you always!

    Love and Compassion

    Ven. Nanda

  • No, nutier, You can't say there was no the word Buddha before Buddhism because this word was the Magadha or Indian language that means

"the Enlightened One or the Awaken One". Even though there was no Buddha yet, but they still have had this word to use also. The word Buddha is not belong to anyone, anyone can find the Four Noble Truths we can call that One "the Buddha".

  • Sorry that I have to rewrite one answer because I see some confused sentence mixed the meaning when writing it.

  • The infant was given the name Siddhartha , meaning " he who achives his aim " . Would you like to say that Siddhartha was a master of his own mind , aren't you ?

I wish you a happy new year 2008

Peace and happiness to you !

    nutier

  • Yes, nutier. We can say Prince Siddhartha was a master of His own mind because he had His ten perfections He mad from the previous life make him a strong, include His effort in the present life that could make him archived his aim.

  • Well , The baby migh have been walking about seven paces on lotus flowers , after his birth . It was an extraordinairy child on earth . If he had been walking alone , could he had been able to speak or eating alone too ?

    nutier

  • That's very good question, nutier!

The baby didn't eat at that time. He just walked seven step on the lotus flowers and said:

"I am supreme in the world, this is my last birth, henceforth there shall be no more birth for me". After he walked seven steps and said this verse, he turned to be a normal baby like other babies. No more walked and no more talked until his age that he can walk and talk as other children.

  • Wasn't Siddhartha and Jesus just sadhus of Hinduism.

  • Sorry, VIKHMERIOUS! I don't understand what you asking about. What doesn't "sadhus" mean?

  • Sadhu means an ascetic. I am asking if Buddhism teaching is rooted from Hinduism just as Christanity is rooted from Judaism? And did Jesus get his teaching from Buddhism?

  • Thanks VIKHMERIOUS! The main Buddha's teaching is not rooted from Hinduism. The Lord Buddha has his own teaching from his enlightenment, He just converted some teaching of Hinduism that He knew it's wrong view to be the right view or right understanding. I am not sure about if Jesus get his teaching from Buddhism or not because I don't know much about Jesus teaching, so I can't say if it's have to be yes or no. Thanks for your good question, VIKHMERIOUS.

    Peace and Happiness to You!

  • VIKHMERIOUS, my question asking you was wrong in the sentence :) but you understand what I want to ask you. I wanted to write "What does "sadhus" mean? but confused to "What doesn't "sadhus" mean?" Thank you so much!

Have a nice day and night!

  • nope they have been a sadhu in many many previous life. is their destiny to be as buddha and jesus. they are here a human to deepen their spiritual understandings. u cant cultivate and learn if u are in spiritual form.
