I appreciate protecting the uncorrupted; however Ishihara's character is dubious. We all know that he has a xenophobia view toward foreigners and has written a novel with sexual content (a bit of contradiction don't you think?) In truth, he is doing with what most politicians do best, championing a cause to gain/maintain their position and power and care very little of their "beliefs" and would instantly change their tune if it would support their personnel gain.

How about taking about 60% of the millions that many celebrities acquire by engaging in the most useless form of making money there is(my opnion.)

Why not just ask the authors to tone it down a bit, tell them make Seikon no Qwaser a 18+ series instead of also possibly labeling Trigun, Pokemon and Hamtaro to be considered harmful turning them into 18-30+ shows that no one can access because ishihara, his son and matsuwhoever think even adults shouldn't watch anime at all.

Um...have you seen the ramifications of this bill? Children's manga are being banned as well. Also, there was a passage in the ban that would finally make it fully illegal to carry child pornography in Tokyo. Ishihara had the ban rewritten to omit that passage. I'm neutral on this topic. Quite frankly, yes, the situation with perverted anime has gotten WAAAAAAAAY out of hand. Just saying you should get your facts right before you post an argument instead of gushing.
