i do not recommend extensions by Jessica Simpson. its too expensive. you got synthetic for over a 100 dollars. and synthetic you cant put heat on them or it will melt. my extensions are 20inches long, human hair, and only 114dollars with S&H from amazon. ive washed, flat iron, and even dye it to my own hair color. plus it comes in four layers than just one and five single hair extension clips.

Thanks for the demo! You said you got this in the ebony color... is the ebony like a jet black or is it black with a slight tint of brown/red? I have naturally black hair, but in the sunlight I have this very nice brown tint going on. Are the ebony extensions sorta like that? I'd appreciate a response, thanks!

The synthetic ones are jet black. Though I am not sure about the human hair I will research that for you.

Hey! i just wanted to take the time out and thank you for this tutorial! im getting my extensions in some time this week, [i got the 22'' relaxed curl] and im very excited! and this video helped a lot! it was nice to see someone do it themselves as compared to a professional doing it to someone else! so once again, thanks! great vid!

Vintage, I love that you said asshat! Don and Mike fan? Anyhoo, great vid. I have the 21 and 23 inch wavy extensions. I am having a hard time blending the longer ones and keeping them from tangling. Any advice?

It was hard to see the hair with your dark shirt on, but I got the basic idea.

Thanks for the explanation. I've been considering purchasing these for a while now. It's better to watch someone like me use it as aposed to a model on tv.

I have been wondering though, does the extra hair make your head hot, like wearing a hat?

Wearing the dark color obviously causes a little more heat. But because the top of your head is exposed, it isn't really bad at all. I think it was really breathable and comfy. To me it just felt the same as it does when you have long hair. And I'll make sure to wear a lighter colored shirt next time!

hI HI. i THINK IT WOULD LOOK BETTER AND MORE NATURAL if you blow dried your own hair with a round brush and some volumizer! I think that would help it blend, plus it creates a nice shape.

That's what I usually do just, didn't think that far ahead today. I'll most likely post a vid of it or some pics just to show what it looks like when you do all the steps and have more than 10 minutes to actually get it done. Thanks!

lol! one more tip? with out making myself out to be the all-mighty asshat? you need to work on the lighting! This was a little difficult to see. Try two adjustable desk lamps on either side of you, pointed at you!
