Boy, I can't tell you how many times I've "asked," and never gotten any response or guidance. These things your saying have no truth to them, you're only saying what you want because it makes you feel good, but that doesn't mean it will work for others....such as other people who "don't believe in God." Don't preach like you have all the answers when you can't provide any proof other than some emotional attachment you've made to something that you don't know is even real.
Even if you did seem to get something you asked for when you prayed, how do you know it is God who is providing it? Lets say, your great great great grandmother to come back to life and live forever with you, and you prayed the same as all the other times, would you still assume that this is plausible? If not, then why? Because if this is God, he can do anything. Therefore there should be no difference between a realistic goal and one that seems completly supernatural when it comes to prayer.
@KingmartaviousIII It's a great question. The truth is I don't want my great3 grandmother to come live with me. In other words, divine doesn't put a desire in me that can't be fulfilled. Your heart's true desire is the desire of the universe, too. It's what you were born for. So I wouldn't pray for something random or strange just to test it; there would be no power in the prayer. Yes, many times I have asked for something and gotten it, in very striking ways. I love living this life.

But this is the exact problem. Because without being able to ever know the difference between a miracle and chance, it's impossible to know where it's coming from. And if you are praying for something that you find attainable already, then that isn't a miracle if it's fulfilled; It's just goood fortune.

Youre absolutely right, Spirit exists in everything around us and that means he constantly giving us guidance through sounds, sights, smells and thru people around us who are not even aware that they are giving guidance through their conversations etc. I loved listening to this, thank U so much for sharing.
