  • Mhhm, yummy. I want to eat cake! ... Will look for some cake in the kitchen.

  • 50% of slaves were own by black people....just like today you people are killing your own people

  • Soulhunter59 and leeharveyosmosis, you care to back up your hate speech against whites with some actual sources? I've got one - a black history professor at Princeton. Nell Irvin Painter, on pg.42 of "The History of White People" says "By the middle of the 17th century, when Virginia's slave population numbered 11,000, only some 300 were African. Any of them - African, British, Scottish or Irish - were lucky to outlive their terms of service." There are tons of books about this; learn to read

  • @illuminate737 I did back it up the the "Ain't I a woman" which was a woman's rights speech. The big difference with indentured servants is that their kids are born free. By this principle there were no true white slaves that were born slaves. Black slaves were tossed out of ships while being tied to anchor because they over loaded the ships. When they got here they were forced to breed so they could make more slaves to sell. I don't know but your source sounds like it's one sided bunk.

  • @soulhunter59 again you fail to cite a single source. Spielberg had no college degree when making that movie. I agree Painter is biased, against WHITES. Princeton wouldn't have her if she wasn't. Yet she admits the 4 white slaves per black 1 in the US colonies. They were no more indentured servants than blacks. More whites died en route (Hoffman: They Were White & They Were Slaves). Though off topic, indentured servants weren't to have kids, so if they did, their kids WERE enslaved as punishment

  • @illuminate737 I'm sorry I sold my U.S. history book, my black history book, and my woman's history book but know that I had As in every single one of those classes. I also named you an entire speech. There are two things I want to wake you up to. First is that in U.S. history there were no white slaves. In colonial history you are really stretching it and your very bias. Second thing is that I'm white and have blonde hair but I'm a history minor and I have forgotten more than you will ever know

  • @soulhunter59 that's probably true if you forget everything you're ever told this quickly. Glenn Beck's point is that this isn't being taught in high schools, & should be. I'm afraid the A's you claim don't outweigh Princeton, and you need to take this debate up with the Princeton professor I'm quoting. Daniel Meaders put the white slaves' 18th century fugitive notices in a documentary reference collection that's available at any bookstore. Read. Quit blaming your stupidity on your blonde hair.

  • @illuminate737 Apparently you don't know what a source is because I gave you one. My most detailed research of slavery consisted of reading old news papers that were written right before the civil war. I had to write a research on runaway slaves. I also had to write a 5 page paper on a subject that the book only talks about in one paragraph or less. When I say forgotten I mean names and places not many even care about. Guess what there were no white run away slaves in a single article.

  • @soulhunter59 once again, not a single source in your entire post. You're boring me. You expect me to ditch documentary reference collections and Princeton because some nameless twit on youtube claims to have read old newspaper articles they can't remember? I read an old newspaper that said the rich were space aliens, so why don't you go chase the illuminati? For those out there who have some sense - no, I never actually read that. BTW, the Civil War was the END of slavery, not the thick of it.

  • @illuminate737 I said post civil war you twit and I suggest you re read my first post because I used an entire speech as a reference. Next I'm going to say that you most likely took her work out of context because out of all the interviews I have seen of her she talked mostly of whites outside the US. In fact the first chapter is about the Greeks. Oh and the rule about not having kids was really a vow not to have sex until their term was up and they got married. Thanks your playing.

  • @soulhunter59 NOBODY was enslaved POST civil war! Nothing but nonsense you pulled out of your butt, as usual. Painter writes primarily about American history, not other countries. Who did you mix her up with? I gave you the page number for the quote: pg. 42. Look it up. And if indentured servants not having kids was just a "meaningless vow", how come the punishment was enslavement of the child? BTW, who do YOU think had to feed/clothe that child? You're just being stupid and wasting time

  • @illuminate737 Post I mean pre but your still a twit because you knew what I meant. But your still talking about colonial history which is not U.S. history. Another point you should consider is why were Native American's shipped off as slaves when they they already had "slaves." No dept to pay off just normal slaves. They didn't do it for long because they all died but there it is. And each settlement had their own rules so they took care of kids in their own way. But work or starve I guess.

  • @soulhunter59 Colonial history's closer to US history than enslavement of Natives! Ask Mexicans why their ancestors enslaved & bred w/Natives to create mestizos. MY ancestors weren't Spanish. Brits arrived in 1607, when 10% of the Natives remained, also owning slaves ("Red Over Black" by Halliburton, extensive enslavement by Cherokee). As Beck explains, EVERYONE had slaves, not just whites. Most African slaves wound up in Brazil. Less than 4% wound up in N. America WHERE MOST SLAVES WERE WHITE!

  • Believe it or not it's true about the begining of slavery. sources. go to google and look up anthony johnson colonist. look at the pbs and wikipedia.

  • @HereWeGoSteelers086 Maybe so but it does not matter as much as the slavery as a whole. I once showed a conservative "Ain't I a woman" speech and he said the nerve to say "Well she should have kept her legs closed if she didn't want her kids taken away." That is an uneducated who does not know their history.

  • @HereWeGoSteelers086 Oh, look at Wikipedia. I'm glad that YOU aren't somewhat influential like say Glenn Beck or maybe Bill O'Reilly. You spend a few minutes looking up the history of slavery on Wikipedia and think you are an expert in the subject. On Wikipedia, anyone from any place in the world can enter and change the articles to ANYTHING they want to change it to. Very...quality.

  • Once again Glenn Beck has proven that whites are forever blameless.

As for me, I cant eat caek.

  • Many of the "Founding Fathers" had slaves. Slaves were used as cheap labor. Christian Religions were used as a gauge for being "civilized." and conforming non-Europeans into society. What is his point with his messed up history lesson? If it shows anything it is how Capitalism unchecked and greed will strip away human rights.

  • Actually, indentured servitude was usually only available after a non-Christian slave agreed to convert. If they didn't, they were most likely just full-blown slaves. And the reason it wasn't a race issue was because the white European powers were still at war. A Spaniard might have white slaves because they were captured in battle. That doesn't mean black men could own white slaves. I've never heard of a single case of that within North America or Mainland Europe at this time.

  • @SliceOfDog , way off. Henry Cromwell shipped over 100,000 Irish slaves who had been political prisoners, beginning in 1655 for enslavement by the Brits, and over a million Europeans were captured in pirate raids and enslaved in Africa during this time. They were forcibly made eunichs. The term "kidnap" comes from British children who were nabbed and sold into slavery. Most were shipped from Britain, some with the original colonists. Come on, man. Look into history before spewing nonsense.

  • @StalinAndTheJews Well I actually said: " I've never heard of a single case of that within North America or Mainland Europe at this time." Slavery happened everywhere throughout history. In predominantly black cultures, white slaves did exist. However, I specified black people owning white slaves in Mainland Europe and North America. White people owned white slaves there, and black people owned white slaves in South America and Africa, but I've never heard of what Beck claims happened.

  • @williwo Republipukes will never get it

  • Indentured servitude was a way to pay off your dept Glen but nice try. No it didn't have anything to do with your race at the time but many people got cheated when it came to becoming free.

  • @soulhunter59 you need to do a better job of saying what you mean. I can't make heads or tails out of that gobbledegook.

  • @fab4bear It was never a choice. That is what would happen if you could not pay back your loan. You had to work for free for 7 years. It got bad when they could sell "your loan" Then your 7 years started over. He makes it sound like it was a choice. It was never a choice it was a punishment.

  • @soulhunter59

My problem with Becks slavery rants is he shows injustices like white servitude to show that "all races were treated bad". He cites the small number of free blacks to show that "it wasn't all bad". He then claims that people are concealing these historically accepted but relatively trivial facts because they hate america(or other bs.) not because american slavery fucking dwarfed those things in relevance.

This is the same shit david duke pulls in his "history lessons".

  • @leeharveyosmosis Very true. Then again if he was any kind of historian he would not be a conservative.

  • @soulhunter59, very true. More than half of all indentured servants never lived to see their freedom, which resulted in 4 white slaves for every black 1 in the American colonies. But I don't think Glenn Beck is trying to misrepresent THAT. Surely no more than every other media personality already has.

  • @soulhunter59 Ummmm he said in the vid that it wasn't about race, rewatch the vid dude.

  • haha. Glenn Beck thinks that indentured servants were all non-Christians or that it was in any way related to chattel slavery.

  • Idiot.

  • Republipuke Idiot!

  • @stoogman The Demonrats will never learn

  • Indentured servitude has NOTHING to do with actual American Slavery. There was no connection between the two.

  • THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS! So many people NEED to know this!

  • @BLUEHIPPO47 PROVE YOUR ACCUSATION OR BE GONE!

  • .but Fox is owned by a terrorist ..so how can Beck and his channel ever preach to anyone again? Fox can never again claim the moral high ground.A man who Beck has exposed as akin to Bin Laden actually is one of the people signing his checks.Argument over..Fox has lost...

  • @BLUEHIPPO47 Proof

  • Very interesting....it does still hurt us in many ways but love & friendship is a good thing we can all give back! Rockin Robin Rox.
