nice Tank. my bro just got a 55 gallon with 2 barbs, 2 golds and 1 turtle.( tank is mainly for turtle. and he might get an AROWANA from a friend, but its only about 6 1/2, maybe 7 inches. i am gonna get his old 30-35 gallon.
Thanks for the advice ace.. but that's an African Brown Knife and they max out at about 12".. and yes you are correct the Clown Knife (Chitala sp.) can get quite large (4').. only a fool would keep those in a tank this size. I have a clown knife in my 375g..
a 10 gallon could be a very good tank too (at least on youtube) if it has a filter and co2. You would just have to make sure that the fish and plants you pick will not grow too big. The most important thing is maintanance and the arremgment of plants and decorations to use basic design elements like focal point and depth.

I would be careful clown knives grow fast and will eat anything that can fit in there mouth and they have huges mouths

This is my DREAM tank. I will not be able to afford one ever though. I can only have a 10 gallon! It kinda sucks
