I loce advent rising I had for the xbox so it had a few bugs unlike the pc version. I do hope they finish the advent rising trilogy. SoTC is a good game to me I still love it and I would recommended that game and advent rising.

shadow of the colossus was awesome. the game has an interesting mix of a sense of accomplishment, and has a random twist that leads to the ending. but above all, do it for the puzzle solving.

i played Advent rising on xbox... when you get powers further into the game, there was one time i 1:dodged shots from three enemies with a slo-mo sideways summersault, 2:telekinetically lifted one of the enemies tho throw him off a space ship, 3:Released a charged energy burst (like the star wars force push) against the other two, and 4:prepared to change direction midair to one-hi-kill one of the two enemies left standing.... 1, 2, 3 and 4...simultaneously.

The game didn't even take place on Earth at all...Earth was killed off 1000+years earlier. The people live on a world called planet Edumea. They (the people of planet Edumea) have never even heard of Earth. They tell you this pretty early on in the game!!! Like the begining, middel and end....Alot

the reason advent rising is underrated and underappreciated is because you dont get superhuman powers(telekenisis,timeshift,s­urge,aeonpulse,negate shield,etc like 6 more superpowers) until the 4th chapter of the game!!!! YOU CAN USE TELEKINISES TO LIFT PEOPLE AND TORTURE THEM IN MID AIR.

I think the games (sotc) "flaws" that you bring up are somewhat intentional. I think the medium/low framerate was capped not only because performance but to add feel; as a game dev i understand frame-rate variance and sometimes, a low frame rate feels solid, a game doesnt need to run 30-60fps, sometimes seeing something at 15 fps can envoke a specific feeling. The devs said the horse is not to be in your complete control, it thinks for itself even while riding, it actually adds a lot to the game

When they're talking about Advent Rising they really dont know what the hell they're talking about because he doesn't mension the fact you get POWERS, he says "its basically a thrid person shooter with energy weapons" when you get further on you dont use any of the weapons AT ALL, i mainly go slo mo and hand to hand or some shiz.

Advent Rising was a great game, sad thing was...ending was a cliffy hanger. I played thru it 10 times, each saving to a new slot. I still have the game, hopin fer backwards compat. This game IS EPIC. Sure its buggy, not by much. And it is a focused shooter, but still plot/storyline out numbers that all. CHECK THIS GAME OUT!

Guys, if you haven't finished Shadow of the Colossus, you've only got half the story. The ending makes you totally re-evaluate the whole story, and it's a real emotional experience.

Please be fair to the game and finish it.

yup, i won't drop the spoiler, but to see how SoTC related to Ico as a prequel definitely made it worth playing to the end. And if you haven't played Ico, go grab it! You'll be a better a person by the end lol And did anyone notice in the E3 trailer for the new game, "The Last Guardian", the guardian creature had horns just like Ico!! O_o I can't wait to find out how it's connected to Ico and SoTC!
