Nice use of Sam (Similar to how he was in the first movie), and great cliffhanger for the next film.

@Doordyy Rumor has it, that what we have on DVD was NOT suppose to be LB2. There was another script and another production entirely, circling around Edgar, Alan, and Sam.. After Haim's meltdown, an entirely new movie had to be put together. The deleted scenes and after credits sequence are suppose to be outtakes from the first production.

@Doordyy There was a cartoon series called Reign of the frogs, that was supposed too fill in the gaps between LB1 and the lost tribe. In the end, grandpa was a vampire, david didnt really die, star and michael had 2 kids, (kids from LB2) and even THEYRE not dead, Allan Frog became a vampire, and David, not dying, attacked a bunch of surfers, thats how shane pwowers became a vampire. Lots of all diff stuff, but you get the idea, lol. Comic series had lots of answers. LB2 was done wrong. Unlucky

@sinnsmd Thanks for the info :) I read the Reign of Frogs comic, it filled in some interesting gaps to say the least. It never explained that Star was the mother of the kids in LB2. Shame, it would've been cool. I didn't really care for the 2nd one. It was okay but felt a bit weak all over.

@Doordyy Yeah, as the awesome person who posted the video said, Before Corey Haim unfortunately pulled out of the movie they were actually sticking too a really GOOD script involving the return of a lot of the original guys. But haim pulling out left apparently too many loose ends the script wouldve had without Sams return, which i fail too see honestly, they coulda put in someone else but in the end we got stuck with a rehash of the original just set too an updated timeframe, same story. :(

@sinnsmd I think the implication with Shane's origin was that Shane was one of the group of surfers that you see David and his boys attacking in the first film when Michael first sees that they're vampires.
