  • even tho i'm natural i prefer to wear my hair str8 and i'm able to keep my hair looking fresh by doing pretty much all the things you listed, i also keep in mind to not use heavy products after my blow dry. I love my skinny serum and chi silk but both of these things are only put on my wet hair to protect it from the heat. if my hair is wayyyy to light and fluffy i'll rub a dime size amount of skinny to my hair starting at the back, making sure less product is on the top of my head.

  • im 10 yrs old...

  • Has anybody ever told you that you look like bon qui qui? xD

  • Do you use anything else or will the items mentioned also help the press hold in humid conditions? I know you mentioned a serum but not all serum work to fight frizz in humidity. You do look very pretty and I also love your eye brows. Mines never grew to the proper length to look that nice.

  • good tips!! thanks

  • Love the brows. .

  • do u suggest olive oil before and after flat ironing?

  • @Fusiondoom def not before because heat and oil may cause heat damage. If you have to use it i would rec. using it after the flatironing. But like i stated in the video, i would add the oil towards the end of the life of the flatiron because oil will weigh your hair down. :)

  • good advice. thanks a million.

  • youre pretty, you kinda look like my cousin, the same head :)

  • Great tips! Thanks for sharing.

  • Couldnt quite understand what exactly the names of the products are, if you could share in detail what they were that would be great!

  • @comdash23 will do. Thanks for viewing :-)

  • I have natural hair and this has been my problem all my life. When I was 12 1/2. I got a perm but my hair fell out so i transitioned back to natural a year later. Now I'm natural and wear sew-in weaves. And every time I straighten my hair i can wear for about 2 days straight but when I wake my edges and roots usually revert back to natural. I wear my hair in a ponytail and wrap with a silk scarf.

  • @wishywashygirl19 yeah i feel your pain, i think you should try this method. and remember, the more you straighten your hair the easier it will become. and that doesn't nessasarily (spelling??) mean heat damage if done the correctly.

  • Did your hair revert completely back to natural after flat ironing your hair?? Thanks?

  • yes it revert back, 100% snap back!! lol. its all of a matter of trial and error, I've had heat damage before and it was NOT from this routine in this video. The tips in this video are what keeps your hair healthy and heat damage free while wearing your hair straight for a while. thanks for watching!

  • nice video =)

  • thanks! if only my words matched my movements :-)

  • Is there anyway you can do a tutorial on your press and flat iron.?

  • not anymore since I am now relaxed, although I still use these steps when I flat iron my relaxed hair. The next time i use heat I can show you how on my relaxed hair (its not bone straight) if you'd like.

    Thanks for watching :-)
