They may be a little 'sharp' in their tone but I see no evidence they are racist. The UK is one of the most diverse societies on earth; over 300 languages are spoken in London alone. I know and am friendly with many Asians in my city and they have never had problems. Whenever I meet someone from another country, I always try and make them feel welcome. US Airport Security is a lot more hardline.
I strongly doubt these people are really Malaysian. Even the chinese educated malaysians I know don't have such bad english. I'm guessing they procured malaysian passports somehow, but aren't actually from the country.
On a separate note, I do find that immigration officials can be quite condescending at times, even though I think I speak fairly good english they always seem to speak like this regardless.
When I came back from holiday to England, we were aksed all sorts of questions when I was with my cousin and brother. The woman asked "how are the three of you related", "who's dad is picking you up", "what if your dad fails to show?" When I answered the last question with "I'll call my other uncle here in London", the woman asked "whereabouts in London does he live?" So many questions even though I have a UK passport and lived there since birth.

My friend who works with customs told me there are different Malaysians. One group is the Chinese - always trying to cheat or smuggle something, very rude and with bad English. Then there are the Malays - the true Malaysians - law abiding, honest and polite who keep Malaysia at civilized level. Immigration officers were professional, nothing to complain.
It is a cause for concern for Malaysians, the Malaysian passport is one of the remaining few commonwealth passports that doesn't require visa for admission into the UK and the EU. Lose that privilege and Malaysia will be deem a pariah state like so many commonwealth nations.
The question now is why are people seeking to enter the UK illegally? Perhaps the lack of opportunities in Malaysia. Whoever that is in power must do something

First of all it is pretty suspicious how could this guy afford to go to London. Secondly, how could he escape from the Malaysian side immigration control. As you can see one of the sides of the passport is cut i.e. it is expired. Btw Malaysians are not only muslims but Malaysians are a diverse ulture who pride themselves on being open minded.
