Joss Whedon had the same problem with Hulu when he released Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-Long Blog, but was able to get them to open that up world wide within a couple of days. It sounds like your going for country to country distribution rights, which takes much longer than a global release. Good luck with that. I'm in the US, but I hate regional distribution rights.
