Well, Michael Jackson meeting Ronald Reagan was popular, Bad Dudes VS. DragonNinja was inspired by Technos Japan's Double Dragon and especially Sega's Shinobi (both released in 1987), and the Genesis/Mega Drive and Master System versions of Michael Jackson's Moonwalker are similar to Shinobi, which are both about saving children in similar stages.
That's because this was completed in one-player mode. If two players beat it simultaneously, then both the white guy (Blade) and the green guy (Striker) would show up next to their statue.
I love how in neither versions that Reagan looks nothing like the actual Ronald Reagan lol. But i have to say, the jap version is closer, kind of sad that the american version has to do with burgers and has a shitty drawing of Reagan...OH WHAT AM I SAYING, ITS AMERICA DAMMIT >:D
If i geet to do my own version of this game, i would conbine the american & japanese endings, plus additional scenes, like the Dragon Ninja & his remaining followers being taken away by a police van after their defeat.
no burger? thats disapointing.

Correct. The arcade game was based on the late '80s American pop culture.

He STILL says he's bad...

NukeOTron 2 years ago
He's saying he's bad the same way Michael Jackson said it in his then-popular song, Bad.

No, I mean the evil guy, the enemy at the sewer (third stage)
He's missing in the list of villains displayed on the statue.

I think the burger was meant to be a reference to Data East's BurgerTime, but I might be wrong.
