  • Anyone got any idea what that last note he hit was? That got to be the highest I've heard from him.

  • Ohhh man what a voice.. I used to fall asleep listening to his greatest hits cd sooo relaxing!

  • Wonderful. Nevertheless I think Ella Fitzgerald version is better

  • a wonderful love song

  • The crappy thing about being a hopeless romantic... Is that it's very hard to actually fall on love with a real person because you are always dreaming about falling in love with them instead of actually doing it.. Lol.. I am in love with love..

  • just great. also liyen to sarah vaughns version.

  • Younger Frankie had such a smooth strong voice but became an even better interpreter of the lyric when he aged a bit!

  • Que bella cancion... TT

  • I so thank you for this unforgettable video!!!. Regards, Sergio.

  • Not bad but I've heard better

  • Frank Sinatra's voice makes me melt. I swear, it's like listening to everything magical and perfect about music.

  • jesus christ what a beautiful arrangement

  • @Zarrinkoub Thanks you, my Son.

  • Hello. Does anyone know when he recorded this song? Coz it sounds like Young Blue Eyes to me.

    BTW, this song is BEAUTIFUL.

  • Believe it or not, Michael Jackson sang a version of this song on one of his solo albums in the '70's. I think the album was called "Music & Me". Can't remember - lost it long ago...

  • Sinatra's forever!!!

  • just wow

  • Could you ask for better?

  • A marvelous song wonderful lyrics and the best singer

  • This song takes me back to my first love I was 16 and she was 15, That was in 1955. We both went our seperate ways, and still after 56 years there is still a great love for her in my heart, and always will be.

  • Wonderful lyrics fantastic singer.

    mannionten

  • This song takes me back to my first love ,I was 16 she was 15, I met her in1955,the lyrics fulfill my memories of her, and epitomise the feelings for her that have lasted 56years, and will be in my heart forever.

  • I would say one of the most beautiful song ever written, every time I hear it, memories of my wife come flooding back to me. Sadly we are now separated due too my foolishness.May be one day just one day we may get back together

  • Music and lyrics are so wonderful, my most favorite song.Where has the romance in life gone/?

  • i remember the old good movies with this song (: <3

  • Tienen razón aquellos que dicen que la monumental aria compuesta por el ruso Vladímir Vavilov cerca de 1970, Ave María, tiene cierta semejanza con All the things you are. ¿Habrá quien haya estudiado si existe una relación entre ambas composiciones? En todo caso ambas son maravillosas y es una pena que se haya atribuido, erróneamente, el Ave María de Vavilov al compositor baroco Giulio Caccini.

  • Marvelous -

  • This video was just added to a music playlist at JustPlay.fm

  • What is there left to say - Thank you, this was wonderful.

  • Beautiful video...appropriate to what Frank Sinatra is singing.

  • perfect wedding song!

  • This is real Junecia

  • I thing this is one of the most pretty songs eveer (':

  • THIS SONG REMINDS OF MY WIFES SWEET LI'L PUPPIES WHEN THEY GOT IN THE ICING SUGAR ONE CHRISTMAS... AND WE LAUGHED TEARS OF JOY DUSTING THEM OFF!

  • Finding your love, I found my adventure,

Touching your hand my heart beat much faster

All that I want in all of this world is you.

  • THE VOICE FOREVER

  • @MrLuigi218761 WOT LIKE A WINDER CLEENER SINGING UP YOUR DRAINPIPE!

  • these songs...like the cars and much of the stuff we have now...they don't make 'em like they used to....

  • @22BSUR Totally... I agree all the way

  • is still the best

  • this is 'the stuff of legends' the things the make romantics believe in love and shows the beauty of a beautiful love.

  • @trydreamin God has great plans for you....I found my true love 2 yrs ago...and we both LOVE Frank Sinatra's music....his music ALWAYS reminds us not to take eachother for granted and cherish "our" love.

  • 5 people had a bad childhood.

  • This puts to rest any argument that 'the voice' couldn't sing. This is him at his very best during the 40s. Try to listen to 'You'll know when it happens' from one of his 40s radio shows and you'll be astonished.

  • Luv this!! But then again I'm a romantic. One day..

  • oo! Frank too?? awesome!!

  • Songs like this could never emerge in contemporary America.

We've become a soulless and artless milieu.

  • @pooperscoopr69 Actually, we're on another planet altogether than we were back then. It's especially apparent in our movies, eh?

  • @pooperscoopr69

as has england. theres literally nothing good going nowadays.

  • @pooperscoopr69 Awe that's unfair. You're just looking in the wrong places ;)

  • @sabbersolo no it is unfair only because the good music should be played on the radio and you shouldn't have go dig through piles of crap to find it.

  • @sabbersolo where, please point me in the right direction. This is an actual question.

  • @pooperscoopr69 This is what happens when everything is about money.

  • @pooperscoopr69 You're probably right, but then again songs always comes out from the culture surrounding it, so a song like this coming out now would come out of nostalgic artist or a pretentious person such as yourself maybe?

  • @pooperscoopr69 Sad but so true ! Todays garbage isn't music at all , just garbage not worthy of a title !

  • @pooperscoopr69 sadly, we live in a post-post-modern world. Nothing has feeling anymore, because everyone is "sterile."

  • @pooperscoopr69 we became that way on May 14, 1998...

  • marry me babe evelyn

  • marry me babe

  • long live sinatra

  • i miss you margy my first love

  • ♫ HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRANK! ♫

    12th Dec 2010

There will never be another Sinatra! (^o^)

  • @trydreamin Too bad we love in a world where "I love you" are just some words...

  • @RAYGXEN Debbie downer

  • @Skybrandon what's that got to do with what I said?

  • In my opinion, this is one of Sinatra's best songs ever. He benefited, of course, from the Kern/Hammerstein song, one of the best in all the pop repertoire, and from the Axel Stordahl's excellent arrangement. However, in the end it's Sinatra's voice that makes the song. It is just breathtaking.

  • It seems as though all of the elements (songwriter, arranger, chorus and especially singer) coalesced to produce this masterpiece.

  • que c joli ça calme vraiment les nerfs

  • ...with all due respect but...this isn't Sinatra...this is Bing Crosby...I can tell them apart...this is Crosby...make the correction, please...

  • @macanudobatatudo that is definately Frank Sinatra. A young Frank... but it is Frank.

  • @macanudobatatudo This is pure Sinatra.

  • @macanudobatatudo Wrong.

  • @macanudobatatudo Your WRONG SPORT ta Do...

  • Another beautiful song from the one and only Mr. blue eyes.....Frank Sinatra.

    Thank you for posting.

  • @trydreamin Understand your desire for someone in this world who has the love expressed in this song: All the Things You Are. My heart and mind goes back to that certain someone I identify the song with. We were together when I first heard it (47 years ago.) Tears still flow when I hear it and come back here often to listen to it again.

My first love - I will ALWAYS love him.

  • @sheryysis I understand what you are saying I agree, I met my first love in1955, when I was 16 and she was 15, but the lyrics epitomise everything I feel for her even today and always will. I am sure I will feel this way until my dieing day

  • @trydreamin

He surely could interpret this song. His love with the adorable Ava Garner was stormy and intense.

  • @hkjazz1 This was before that.

  • Every day I think of Frank Sinatra ...and I hear him sing some song from his wonderful career..from the vintage years up to his final years...he and Ella Fitzgerald were in a very special class of Vocalists and People.

  • i'm so buying his cd, i hope more people my age would appreciate this.

  • Well he's in a different country right now.. so him :D

  • @Katie31795 Katie Hudson with tears in my eyes i want you to know that you my dear are the woman i want to spend the rest of my days with

    Katie Will you marry me?

  • @trydreamin You are such a passoinate person; one day love shall come to you.

  • My Anngail. My sweet love. These words speak so well of what you are to me. I love you more than you can ever imagine, too. D.M.

  • @partlymedia March. I love you. Your Sweet Girl

  • This song is absolutely captivating and lovely, I love how you dedicated it to your parents. May your father rest in peace. :)

  • i play this song on the piano. it is one piece of music good on the keyboard!! I love this song. Thank you unwelt1998 :)

  • Not a day goes by when I don`t think of Frank Sinatra...and in this era of the instantly forgetable evrything...the quality that came from those great years `The Melody Lingers On And On`...Real Class..Real Talent...!!

  • Your dad had good taste in music.

  • This is one of the most beautiful pop songs ever written. It's also one of the most complex. Someone (who clearly knows what he's talking about) has written an excellent entry about this song on wikipedia.

And of course, Sinatra does a marvelous job, along with Axel Stordahl who wrote the swinging arrangement.

  • Want to play this song on the piano? Check out my channel for a video lesson.

  • @Alex5523: This was released on the album Songs From Sinatra, April, 1947; re-released as an LP January 1950. It can be found on the 4-CD Columbia compilation.

  • I'm a lifelong atheist. Few things in life make me wonder if there is a god; Sinatra's voice on this tune is one of them. Not sure mere evolution could produce a combination of singer & song as sublime as found on this recording.

  • @jimspy1001 the closer we come to old age the more it makes sense to believe in a god haha :-)

  • @alliax - Guess I'm not quite that old yet...

  • @jimspy1001 check youtube user sayakaalessandra version of all the things you are, video id is R4OhgGmE-rk I find it really good and more than that.

  • @jimspy1001 Amen.

  • @jimspy1001 read Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis (a former atheist) you wont be disappointed.

  • @MJSweetChildofGod - Been there, done that, got the T-shirt. Nothing new in Lewis, that hasn't been torn asunder six ways to sundown. But I digress...let's focus on our commonality, Sinatra. Frank would want it that way.

  • @trydreamin

I would to share the ideas and feelings my email is "lemolevis@gmail.com" I am crazy about sinatra

  • @lemolevis I share the same feelings as you do. I'm absolutely fanatical about Sinatra. I'll be contacting you as soon as I can get the time.

  • @trydreamin Dont be such a pussy

  • Thanks Frankie!!!

    The greatest.

  • what is the album this was released on ?

  • I first heard this at 18 in 1980. And I strongly believe this showcases Sinatra at his best, during the 43-49 period. And puts to rest the critics who said he couldn't sing.

  • Indeed, i agree this is Frank at his best (1940's). However i don't think anyone has accused Frankie of being a bad singer.

  • @closedcircle1 What was he like in 1980? Was the voice still powerful and beautiful?

  • This song is dedicated to my one and only Kimberly.

  • What beautiful lyrics!

  • ♥♥

  • I never gave sinatra props but hearing him right here...he truly has an amazing voice...

  • I hope love, happiness and fulfillment come to you, trydreamin; until that happens - and it will happen - keep listening to Frank, the world's best singer of all time.

Love and peace be with you.

  • I hope it too

  • They do not make the singers or songs like Frank or these types anymore.

    Best Days of Music: 1950s.

  • Someone I care about deeply just dedicated this song to me. I am touched.

From here on, Gui, this will be our song.

    Je t'adore...

  • Oscar Hammerstein wrote this song. Hoagie Carmichael and Irving Berlin wrote many others with character, beauty and depth that approach a Godly level of pristine creativity. The past two generations of song writers of whatever genre could not write lyrics like these men did if their lives depended on it. You could offer them $1,000,000 and it is just not in them. Want another example? Look up the lyrics of "Stardust." It's amazing! Tom Brokaw had it right. The greatest generation.

  • Well said!!

  • I have 100 concerts for Sinatra in audio and video;

    interested write me

  • What a beautiful way to illustrate the story of the song!

  • man i love some sinatra!!!

  • Yes, simply superb! And enough credit cannot be given to Axel Stordahl for helping Frank transition from band singer to solo artist and for providing him with arrangements like this!

  • Sinatra displays himself once again as the personification of perfectionism. Splendid Lady Jayne!

  • Superb! Bravo! TY.

  • my mom commented.. MAGNIFICO!!!

  • beautiful video

  • A Young Sinatra here from his Columbia period, singing in my opinion, the best rendition of All The Things You Are. The beauty of the voice, the phrasing, the control, and especially that high f# note at the end of the song are just perfect. Definitely " The Master Of Song". Thanks for posting.
