I think Yachiru never fights and never releases her Zanpakuto because she knows or thinks that Kenpachi wouldn't like it. She either hides the fact that she communicates with her Zanpakuto to Kenpachi or she doesn't communicate with it at all to the point where she's in the same situation of miscommunication with ones Zanpakuto just like Kenpachi. I really wish she fought :/ I've been more eager to see what the lieutenant of the notorious Squad 11 can do more than any other character in Bleach
