@minhjerry I couldn't help but notice you didn't have to cut the plastic.... Allmost all of them with taped protective screen are fakes the real ones are not taped they are sealed and the only way in is to cut the actual plastic.
@pierce3101 Haha! With 1 cheap guy who dont have it. You can say anything you want! Moreover, in the box, they have stick, cleaning tools, the ear bud.
For the Sennheiser IE8s, do you have to wear them with the cable going over and around your ear like in-ear monitors or can you wear them like no ipod earphones, Thanks =]
The last time when i purcharge for this! I gotta pay 450 buck no shipping! But now i think u can get the cheaper price on AMAZON! U can buy from that site!
@minhjerry wow you spent 450 bucks on those man. I spent 260 on ebay and they are legit. I was lucky on that deal. They normally average around $300.00 for the cheapest ones now and $400.00 for base price. But they are worth the money.
Please call Sennheiser and validate this pair, I htink they are fakes, alot of IE7 and IE8 fakes coming from Hong Kong. Sennheiser will let you know for sure.
Actually, are you still a beginner audiophile, too? If you are I might suggest something cheaper first. To train your ears first. I doubt beginners can really pick out the in-depth quality differences. No offense meant.
Lol. Sound is a very subjective thing mate. What sounds good to you might not sound good to me. Personally I tried the SE530, TF10, and W3 back then. The TF10 and SE530 weren't for me, so I went W3. Never tried the AH-D2000 though, so I can't comment.
ie8s bass goes lower, and isnt really stronger. Ie8 has a way bigger soundstage, detail, well both of them are unforgiving, highs on them are quite the same, maybe a bit exaggerated on the w3 for sensitive ears and mids are about the same. If Freq. response matters more to you than soundstage and imaging, in this matter, the W3 is better. Sorry as this is 3 months old. Visit head-fi for any of these questions.
Long story short: W3's are more of a "jack-of-all-trades." Excellent in all but perfect at none. The soundstage and bass on the IE8s kill any other universal IEM out there.
ya they will not only that but JH pro are comin out with a 16 and 18... sheesh! they are suppose to have 3 tweets, 3 mids, and 3 woofers... its gna be like $1150. or something like that. But I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a pair of IE8... around 250 or something like that.. but I can keep dreaming...lol
I've been researching between the Shure and Senns, but went ahead and purchased the Shure. Couldn't demo them anywhere, but heard the midrange on the Shure is pretty sweet compared to the Senns.
For fullsize headphones, I'll stick with Senns though =)
@minhjerry I agree with you. From the reviews I red these are overall good in sound quality and bass. The se 530s are best in the highs but leave a lot to be desired. You don't feel like dancing with the se530's but with the ie8s you gotta move ;).
nice purchase, since you've said you had a shure se530 before, comparing it between the sennheiser ie-8, which do you think is better in terms of sound quality and comfort?
Yeah, that's true. My IE8s was really perfect in everything that u mention. It has a strongest bass in every earphone that I used such as SE530s, E5C.... That was the most cool in the world now, i think!
I will be ordering a pair from headroom today or tomorrow. I'm really excited. These IEM's are perfect. Bass oriented, isolating, easily driven, adjustable bass, excellent stage and so articulate. I'm rambling in my pre-purchase stupor. Hope you're enjoying these things. They better be burning in as we speak!
Haha! That's right! There is a small label under this box! U need to cut it before take it out! Anyway, the sounds is awsome! The best that i have ever known!
