Very cool video. We just took our bikes to the Keys a couple of weeks ago. Great trip, but I think we are going to wait for some cooler weather before we go again.
This video was shot using 4 security video cameras fed into a quad split that switches cameras every 15 seconds. The video from the quad was fed into a rolling camcorder held in a fanny pack mounted on my handlebars. The audio is from a line level powered lavalier microphone mounted inside my helmet.
a friend and i did 4,000 mi trip around the western us . had a blast . i posted a short vid but im a newbie at the vid stuff . you did an awsome job .
I'm preparing a trip from Miami to Sao Paulo/Brazil and I will use cameras in 5 bikes. Please send me your e-mails or contact phone because I would like to talk to you about your system. I live in Boca Raton and I have friends in Orlando who will go with me to Brazil in this trip.
This was brilliant - well done. On a side note, can someone please let me know some info about that music; it was fantastic. We are heading down to the Keys on our bikes in less than a month and I would like to put that music on the iPod.
Hey man...thats a realy great setup you have there...very good quality. You must be using very wide angle cameras. Lets have some more road trips...finally someone on youtube that knows how to film with bikes.Top man !!!!!
Very cool, the way you have this setup....enjoyed the vid...keep posting!

Judging from the responses here you should sell this setup to bikers. I've done this trip many times in the past 30yrs, Miami to key west and back

This is excellent. What cameras did you use? Did you have a standalone unit for each, or 1 recording unit with 4 video inputs?
