i like this far better than the original interpration and transcription. you can fucking smell the grass and you can see the lands of iralnd in this. mister yepes is never wrong
stop saying how this piece should be played, stop that, this is mister yepes, the great spanish guitarist, it's an honor already that he played your traditional piece or something, he is not Irish ok.. at least give some respect.. give respect to the man who is not around anymore
@ruel9 People can play music however the hell they want to. I surely hope people don't strive to copy someone's work exactly! Give it your own touch, it'll be more interesting for everyone.
Yes, I have to agree with you on Medieval point, and when looked at from that respect this would indeed be a faithful re-imagining of how the piece would have been played.
What control of dynamics are you referring to?... Yepes transcribed this piece himself, there is nothing to A/B it against. If it was something by, say, Albéniz or Tárrega we could compare their original transcriptions and decide if it is a faithful interpretation or a brilliant reinterpretation of said original!
As for the racist accusation, well, I will stay away from that (you may resort to calling me a Nazis next).

And you Sir, like some many other's have closed your ears and instead pander to the cult of personality. This (to my ears at least) is a drudge not a march!...I do not wish to get into a slagging match as we all have our own opinion...you have heard mine, live with it.
Does anybody know where to get this in a better quality? Or is there only this video recording?
